Cadets de Gascogne — Restaurant in Riga

I was originally scared to try the bakery because I’m in France very often and I know the quality of their products. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised- everything was as good if not better than that of a similar/the same item I’ve had in France. The crossing was extremely buttery and moist as well as flaky but not too flaky which I prefer. I really couldn’t believe the quality there and the ham&cheese filling was tasty as well. The ham was flavorful like a honey ham which I didn’t expect. The citrus tarts was great and the pistachio macaroon was excellent. I don’t often give five star reviews but this bakery it is well deserved. The fresh squeezed orange juice was great too. I ordered delivery from Bolt. My order arrived quick and very neatly packaged with zero items damaged. Great value but of course the value is better to go in-person as opposed to ordering...

Lovely place, we are visiting it for years. Tasty bakery, nice coffee, quite cosy. But I think there should be invested in cleaning a lot. There is so dirty and dusty on a floor…it makes every visit more and more...
