Five One 51 Riga — Restaurant in Riga

Good location as that side of old town doesn’t have many places to dine at + great cocktails..they were truly tasty with fun names..that is the end of the positive things. We came for dinner on a Monday evening and had to wait for 40+ minutes to get the pizzas even though it wasn’t that busy..service was slow in general,had to go inside to ask the waiter to take the orders and then waited for our drinks which came with the starter..and while the starter was good (burrata with tomatoes and peaches) ,the pizzas were average at best..:/ I believe they are going for NY style pizza but the crust was rubbery and the taste was bland..we went for a chorizo pizza (it was very heavy on the oil,like oil was dripping from the pizza) and salmon one..finished half of both and that was it.. on the photos it looks nice but Riga has places that offer way better pizzas with really rich flavors..so overall,a disappointing...

We came here for a Friday night dinner, to begin you must make a reservation beforehand through their Instagram page. Don’t expect to get a table by luck through walk-ins since seating is very limited. Service was definitely on the lower side. We did feel rushed to make up our minds on our orders from our server and staff in general didn’t seem to be enthusiastic. Cocktails were delicious, food did not live up to the hype/expectations as seen on social media. My burrito was quite small and lacked some flavor. Therefore, I don’t recommend it. My friend’s salad seemed to have a lot of veggies and not a lot of meat. Thus, I expected more from this establishment but perhaps I ordered the wrong thing. Tacos seem like the better and tastier option, will come back to give it...

Highly recomment to book the table in advance! There are high chairs only, so rather comfortable, but not for hours 😁. The food is ok, however a bit blend. From four tacos types the best was Coconut shrimp. Tried also cocktails, also ok, however would again require bit more balanced taste. The staff is very good and make you feel welcomed! P.S. Sorry for pink photos - the lighting there is not very friendly for good...
