HEX cocktail bar — Restaurant in Riga

Pretty cozy place, however i probably was overexpecting from other reviews. I was looking for personal approach to cocktails, not just "default ones, they are just not listed on paper"

For example i wanted a spicier version of new york sour(not whiskey sour) other person wanted lighter version of whisky sour, we both got just regular whiskey sour.

If i knew that it would be how it works, I'd opt in for predictability of regular paper menu. At least i would know beforehand if bar is servings regular stuff or something special.

Unfortunately very average drinks, if not even below.

The concept of no menu, everything custom is interesting. The execution was just plain bad.

Both cocktails tasted like they were from cheap ingredients, just a sour juice with some alcohol, and not even a bit similar to what I ordered. But still 10 EUR per drink.

Interior is messy, chaotic and cheap-looking.

The overall feel and quality of drinks is like that of visiting a buddy for drinking at his house. Not that of a proper bar.

We found this bar on coincidence and can absolutely recommend it. They make custom (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) drinks, so just tell the barkeeper what you like or dislike.
