I'm gonna update my opinion about this place as I had some not so nice experience last time. I go often there and I used to think about it as one of my favourite places, one of these days I went there and on the outside tv they were showing Cricket world final, on which one at the middle pause some old men were talking about hemorrhoids. The bar was death empty, only 2 guys sitting outside and I asked them if they were following Cricket they said no laughing. I asked to the bar tender if he could please change channel and he said NO due to a bunch of excuses, the worst one was that he said some people who likes watching this might arrive, and my saying here is, ok for them is more important someone who is NOT there, but me as a customer in that moment being there, consuming, I wasn't important for them. While some other staff has been nice and friendly. Food = Tasty snacks from the deep fryer. But it would be nice if they added some fresh salads or vegetables. Toilets = Extremely clean. Service = You have to order at the bar and when there is plenty of people this might take long time. Price = Average according to Old...
Read moreUnfortunately, our experience at this pub was very disappointing. We visited Riga as Serbian basketball fans to enjoy a match, and after the game (where Serbia won), we came to this place simply to eat and have a drink.

As visitors who came in good spirits, we were shocked and saddened by this kind of treatment. We understand that emotions around international politics can be sensitive, but making offensive and xenophobic remarks toward peaceful tourists is unacceptable in any setting.
We hope that no other visitors experience this kind of hostility, and we encourage the management to address such...

While we were there, some other randoms who weren’t part of the reservation turned up and sat down too. After a bit, some old git comes out and kicks us out of the place. He starts off saying it’s because the table was reserved. But since there were other people sitting there (potential punters), he only booted us out because we were under eighteen, even though there were other minors in the place. We weren’t making a racket or bothering anyone, and I reckon the old bloke just wanted us gone because we hadn’t bought anything, even though he never offered. Anyway, missed the match and had a right rubbish experience. Wouldn’t recommend the...
