Sushi date? — Restaurant in Kaunas

The Vegan Hot-roll is delicious, and we’ve eaten here several times before. But this time we ran into an issue. Normally, we can swap the mushrooms in the sushi for tofu without any problem. This time, though, they said we had to pay extra because tofu is “more expensive than mushrooms.”

I’d totally understand if this charge was always in place, but the inconsistency makes the pricing feel questionable. When we shared our concerns, a person who looked like an owner/manager got very defensive and started a verbal argument. Arguing with customers? Obviously they care very little about customer satisfaction.

The food was so good — super fresh sushi, perfectly balanced flavors, and beautiful presentation. You can tell they really care about what they serve.

I started with fried pork dumplings and had it followed with 8 pieces of California roll sushi. Top class food every time. The total bill came to just over €15. Which was very fair for the quality of the dishes!

The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the whole place had a really nice, cozy vibe — perfect for a date night or just hanging out with friends. Everything came out quickly, and the prices were totally fair for the quality.

Just another sushi place in Kaunas. Tried some snacks and sushi there. Snacks were actually really good. Recommend taking their tempura shrimps and tempura portobello mushrooms. For the sushi, it was alright. We expected a bit more flavour from the sushi that we ordered since we tried something with a more interesting flavour profile like yuzu and tom yum. It was good just nothing special, I would say the place is a little bit overpriced. The looks of the food was great.
