Ordered some food through Wolt - naan wrap with chicken, chili honey fries, and chicken korma.
The food tasted like it was cooked well, the meat was soft and tender, the naan was fluffy and soft. The portions were decently sized as well.
However the food was completely flavorless and the vegetables tasted like they weren’t fresh.
Fries were completely bland, covered in sauce which only tasted like spice and maybe a hint of sweetness and was turning the fries soggy. Felt like I was eating a sponge with chili oil.
Chicken korma was just a brown flavorless soup. Hospital and baby food would beat it in terms of flavor any day.
Store bought rye bread somehow has more taste than the garlic naan as well.
The best thing out of all was the naan chicken wrap, but it was still just as flavorless as anything else with vegetables that tasted like they should have been thrown out already.
I’ve been to many Indian places and most of them were spectacular with food that was perfectly seasoned, I have no idea why here it’s so impossible to do. Please buy some salt and taste...
Read moreThe food is beyond terrible. Rice was clumpy and soggy and overcooked and unseasoned. Chicken tikka had very very little chicken and a sauce that easily could have come out of a ketchup bottle with some cheap garlic flavor (probably garlic powder) sprinkled in. There's no way that chicken was cooked fresh. It was unappetizing and just plain disgusting for that expensive pricing. I generally have a rule of thumb to never eat Indian food outside India especially in Europe but I was coerced into ordering from here by friends and now I can assure you neither of them are ever going to eat Indian...
Read moreOrdered by phone and came to pickup for takeaway, still had to wait for half an hour after promised time, but that wouldn't be the problem, issues was we've got cold food. Wraps were barely warm, while fries were really cold. Considering price for wrap is 5-5.5€ i would say that's quite disappointing. Wrap itself is made out of naan bread (which is nice), while inside mainly plain cabbages, too much sauce and too sparing on the meat. I do like people from india try to make local business here, but they need to step up with the quality...
