It is a peaceful and quiet place. The waitress was very nice. She explained the special meal of the day. It is the 15th of the month of Chinese Farmer Calendar. Many people choose to have vegetarian on this day. I was not hungry so I ordered Signature sauce Chee Cheong Fun which was Cantonese steam rice roll. It's special sauce was excellent. The Cantonese Rice dumpling made with Millet instead of Jasmine rice. It has high nutrient for sure. It was very nice and it has mushroom in it.
Lotus paste pancake was excellent. It was a very delicious dessert. The beverage was very impressive. Hot and humid weather in Penang made us enjoy beverage very much. I would like to try something special here. The lovely waitress suggested me to try Nutmeg Lemon Juice. I LOVE IT! That is brilliant. Another beverage was Roselle-Lime Mojito which was the best. Trust me you need it to survive in this kind of weather. Stay away with soft drink, try the local beverage with more natural then chemical. After all, all of their staffs were very nice, two ladies, a young man and an grandpa from the kitchen was very very nice. So far they were the kindest people I met in...
Read moreDisappointed!! Pros : Their Assam Laksa, tasted good! Steam fried mushroom buns were good as well! Nice Ambience.
Cons : Food is very expensive, assam laksa bowl size was between small to medium size , It was for RM 9.80, and If you are taking away the food, it comes with two spring rolls. If you are dining in there, you will just get to eat the assam laksa alone. If you are taking away the set rices such as, chili sweet tofu rice, teriyaki rice and etc, ( RM 6.50 only). We have ordered rendang curry with rice. The bowl size was really small for the price we have paid, ( RM 19.80). Steam fried mushroom buns were so small, I would say its even smaller than mini buns, 3 buns for RM 13.80.
Suggestion: Better to take away the food! Management seriously need to look into the food portion as well as price of the food. I wont mind paying for the food, if its...
