Read moreThe place is on the smaller side but beautifully decorated and they’ve incorporated the buildings heritage style into their decor. The atmosphere is really calm and overall so welcoming. We called a few days in advance and booked a table and gave our food order a few hours before we arrived since it was ramadan and we wanted to break our fasts there. They accommodated our requests without any issue.
There was a group of 10 people and most places tend to have a couple mistakes with such a large group. The staff at Al-Bash made no mistakes, provided excellent service and were so attentive without hovering.
The food, god where do I begin! It was divine. Every dish we tried was better than the last. Such tender meat, rich flavours and amazing textures. The food was so fresh and beautifully presented, hats off to their chef.

Read moreThe Greek and Turkish foods here are very delicious. I like it because it is not so oily compared to other places that I have tried. Good quality ingredients are used too.
The Tabbouleh salad for example, is an herb salad. Initially, I thought it will have strong raw green parsley taste. To my surprise, the Chef made it well balanced that I can eat it just like that. It also goes really well too when I added hummus and Tabbouleh on a piece of that soft and thin Pita Bread. Very nice!
The Chef is very passionate in introducing his country authentic foods. I've tried the Smoked Lamb Shoulder platter. It is so soft, tender and juicy that the bone can slide out so easily from the flesh. But, remember to go with at least 5 people or more because it can be quite filling....all lean meat! I did not see fats, that's what I truly like about it, good protein (the lamb is not smelly too).
Overall, good quality ingredients are used, dishes are well presented when it is served. If you cannot finish, request to takeaway (don't waste because the Chef really use good ingredients).
Not only the tummy is happy after eating, even the eyes get to feast happily:) Worth trying, value for money for the quality you get. I'm a satisfied...
