Love Lane is located in Georgetown, Penang, Malaysia , not far from Penang Road. It has changed a lot recently and is now very much a beer, music and street food area. Night life is pretty good, once you past the heat and humidity. Lots of hawker food, I always see what the locals order and order the same. Plenty of local good-value accommodation in the area as well. The shopping mall Prangin Mall, also known as 1st Avenue is just around the corner. Plus a Unesco World Heritage right in the street too. A very cute street with many pubs to relax at and restaurants to eat in.

Be advised, there are some reviews online of a few of the pubs where patrons wrote that they were served “fake” alcohol which made them sick (I expect that would be methanol).
