A Culinary Journey at Chin’s Style Chinese Cuisine – A Must-Visit!
Our recent visit to Chin’s Style Chinese Cuisine was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance and interior design set the tone for an unforgettable evening. The stylish decor perfectly complements the sophisticated dining experience, creating an atmosphere that’s both elegant and inviting.
We kicked off our evening with a glass of champagne, a delightful start that hinted at the luxurious offerings ahead. The menu is a true testament to high-quality Chinese cuisine, featuring unique dishes like caviar and foie gras prepared with a distinct Chinese flair.
Chin’s roots trace back to London in 1980, and the legacy is evident in every detail. The host, reminiscent of a character from a classic Chinese film, exudes both charm and expertise, guiding us through a culinary journey that celebrated the richness of Chinese flavors from start to finish.
The wine list was equally impressive, offering a selection of fine French wines that paired beautifully with our meal. Among the highlights were the Peking duck and Korean beef—both dishes were masterfully prepared and bursting with flavor. If you visit, don’t miss the opportunity to order the whole fish cooked in a wood-fired oven—an absolute showstopper!
The restaurant was bustling, yet the service remained attentive and seamless. We ended up spending the entire evening there, fully immersed in the experience.
In summary, Chin’s Style Chinese Cuisine is a top-tier recommendation whether you're planning a romantic night out, a gathering with friends, or a celebration with a large group. The combination of exceptional food, great service, and an inviting atmosphere makes it a dining experience you won’t...
Read moreThis is Chinese Fine Dining in French Haute Cuisine Style. Ambience: The restaurant is beautifully decorated creating a breathtaking ambience. Table setting is beautiful and every table is individually lite. Very romantic indeed =) Service: Service is impeccable. Attentive, polite, and proactively taking care of the customers to ensure we have a wonderful dining experience. Food: This restaurant is one of the few Chinese Restaurants that has truly transformed Chinese Cuisine to French Haute Cuisine Style. Kudos! Dishes are served slowly and one dish after another. No rush at all. Every dish is beautifully decorated. Not just pleasing to the eye, the food is really delicious! I could literally taste the great deal of effort that has gone into creating every delicious dish.
I ordered their top set menu "E" at MYR288+ per person, and it was worth every cent! I really love it!
This is one restaurant in Penang that I will consider revisiting in my future trips...
Read moreI had my dinner there during my birthday celebration. For me it is quite attractive as this is a fine dine but they serve Chinese style food. Based on my experience, I think it is very good in terms of their food, service and environment. I called to made a reservation but no one pick up but they did call me back which this is very good and I think other restaurant should do the same. Parking isn't a problem as well just you need to pay and park. And the walking distance needs to depends on your luck. If you are lucky you can just park in front of the shop, if you are not that lucky you might need to walk 50 meters to the restaurant. It is definitely sea view as the restaurant is right on the middle of the sea. The price is still reasonable for a fine dine but just most of the meals is minimum 4 pax per order. Only one or two choices for a couple who visit there. Per pax is around MYR100+++ depends on what you...
