My worst experience at a restaurant in a very, very, very long time. The lead waiter that seated us who was skinny guy wearing a "Cho Dong Jib was incredibly rude and weird. As we soon as we walked in he started acting angry at us because we didn't want to sit in the table in the front because it was too hot. We asked to be seated in the back. He did not like it all even though the restaurant was empty. Throughout the rest of dinner it felt like he was scolding at us for the one thing or another. We said we wanted to order more drinks, and it made him mad. We said we wanted the food cooked not at the table because we had a lot of small children, and it seemed to upset him. One of the kids ordered a noodle soup and when it arrived we wanted him to place it front of the child instead at the edge of the table, he got really mad and started sighing because he had to bend over and place the item just a little further in. We also decided to put the toddler soon tofu with open flame right in front of our toddler, which was terribly unsafe. Towards the end of the meal the kitchen put out a plate of water melon which we think was intended for us. As it was on the counter, he kept on walking by it and started eating it himself. What's worse was as he was eating it, he kept on spitting the seeds into his bare hands, and without washing his hands he kept on serving more food to the rest of the diners. The whole meal was weird and terrible. The barchan was mediocre, but we had to beg the staff to bring us two sets because we occupied two tables. The meat was ok. We spent a lot of money on this meal and it wasn't worth it and the experience was aggravating. It felt like the staff was angry at us for no reason...

Korean BBQ is a culinary experience that delights the senses and brings people together for a flavorful and interactive meal. Typically enjoyed in restaurants where diners cook their own meat and vegetables at tabletop grills, Korean BBQ offers a unique and immersive dining adventure.
One of the highlights of Korean BBQ is the wide variety of meats available, ranging from thinly sliced beef (such as bulgogi) and pork belly to marinated chicken and seafood options. Each meat is typically accompanied by an array of banchan (side dishes) that add depth and complexity to the meal, including kimchi, pickled vegetables, and savory pancakes.
The cooking process itself is part of the fun, allowing diners to control the level of doneness and customize their meal to their preferences. Whether you prefer your meat perfectly seared or slightly charred, Korean BBQ puts you in the driver's seat.
Beyond the delicious food, Korean BBQ is also a social experience, often enjoyed with family and friends gathered around the grill, sharing stories and laughter as they cook and eat together. The communal aspect of Korean BBQ adds to the overall enjoyment and creates lasting memories.
However, Korean BBQ can be a bit pricey, especially at upscale restaurants or when ordering premium cuts of meat. Additionally, the smoky atmosphere and lingering smell of grilled meat may not be appealing to everyone.
Overall, Korean BBQ offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience that combines delicious food, interactive cooking, and communal dining, making it a popular choice for food lovers seeking a memorable meal with friends and family.

Read moreTypical korean restaurant where things are not so sweet or modified to suit Malaysian's taste. Also, many Koreans visit the restaurant proved once again that it surely is typical. It can be a bit pricey ( two grill meat, one tofu pot, ramen set with sushi, korean pancake, three green tea cost 200), but consider its location in Gurney Paragon and the typical taste which differ from those sweet taste in other Korean restaurant, it is well worth it especially for us who visited Korea two years ago and were craving for delicious typical Korean food. The service was high quality and the picture of food on menu is quite similar to the product. The spiciness stated on the menu really suit your taste. Only food to criticise is the tofu stew which tastes of minced pork meat, it ain't the taste of...
