Read moreWent here because the Massaman was recommended on a google search, but didn't realise it was a Vegan restaurant until I arrived! Almost didn't go in, except it was raining and I was there already, very glad I did as well.
I of course had the Massaman and the Flat bread. The Massaman was delicious, as was the flat bread which was incredible, highly recommend you order the bread with whatever else you might order.
I was given a free small desert which was a sweet potato paste inside a toasted sandwich. It tasted like butter and honey on toast, which is to say that was also delicious.
I highly recommend this place, especially so if you're a vegetarian/vegan, but also if you aren't - you won't feel deprived in any way. This is artisan food at it's finest.
The place is also extremely well designed and decorated, very high ceilings and all the furnishing just go well together, it's a nice place to just sit.
They sell some arts and crafts at the front, but didn't really have a close look, as well as some of the food their make on site.
The people who work there are also very nice. Definitely need to support...

The nasi ulam was cooked using couscous, which gave it a nice texture, Light and fragrant, with fluffy couscous soaked in citrusy lemongrass and nutty coconut. The floral notes of laksa flower add depth, while a squeeze of lime brings a fresh, tangy finish. Every bite was refrshing and really satisfying. Prices are abit high but I think its worth it because of how exquisite and delicate this meals are....
