Without a doubt, Supe showcases vegan dining experience on Penang Island as a culinary marvel. The charcoal ramen, with its superior quality and oat milk base infused with rich sesame seed flavors, stands as a shining example of culinary excellence. This dish is a true testament to the innovative and exceptional vegan cuisine.

The mango sushi platter is another showstopper, a must-have on the menu. Dazzling in both taste and presentation, this dish holds its own on a global stage. In fact, it is unrivaled - a rare gem that draws diners from far and wide, for there is simply no better rendition to be found anywhere else in the world.

SUPE, with its commitment to exceptional quality and creativity, has undoubtedly earned its place as a culinary destination. The flavors and artistry found here are celebrated as a mark of culinary excellence, enticing food enthusiasts from all corners of the globe to indulge in its splendor. Much more morable than any Michelin starred...

Had a vegan friend in town from US and she had heard about Sushi Kitchen in Los Angeles. We made a point of going to the Georgetown restuarant and it didnt disappoint. Dont be put off it Vegan, anyone that loves Japanese food, this is a must visit, you will never tell that there is no fish used in any of the dishes. Unlike many vegan places menus are small, not here, the choices are incredible, and portion sizes perfect, we have dishes, each was just a dining delight. Price is so inexpensive compared to places that sell fish in their sushi, just because it's less cash doesnt mean less flavor, I would say double the flavors. The chef is a master craftsman at this kind of dining, you will be spellbound with the presentation and flavors The staff were very attentive and. We the menu and ingredients as if they had made the receipts up themselves

So next time you are in Georgetown and want to surprise someone who loves food in authentic shoplot, this is your...

The best vegan food, a lovely interior, and very quick kitchen service! However, I can't help but mention the situation that occurred there twice. It was the first time I experienced discrimination as a solo guest. I arrived during lunchtime and was informed that all the tables were fully booked. I accepted this, even though there were some free tables and seats available. I assumed other guests would arrive soon and decided to order takeaway. While I was waiting, a couple entered and requested a table for two. And they were seated. The lady at the front didn't see any problem and left me waiting. The second time, I wasn't the only one surprised that I couldn't be seated when there were many available places to sit. Another person who arrived after me was noticed by other guests, who invited him to their table since there was no reason to refuse him a seat. I was also invited to join a table, but I didn't feel like staying...

We arrived there at 20:30 and they were supposed to close at 21. The waitress explain us that they usually don't accept new costumers after at that time because last hour is to clean and people finish eating, but she made an exception for us and let us order if we were fast! We ordered ramen and was amazing! The price was so good for us that are backpacking, not expensive compared to other japanese Restaurants we checked and the quality was awesome! Must try the tempura and the ramen with tofu! That tofu was like a sponge, so filled with all the flavours from the ramen! Really recommend it! Quality-price awesome and the service was excellent as well! We would have repeted if we had more time for sure! The only con i would say is that the aluminium chopsticks are kind of difficult to use compared to all the other ones i tried, they are kind of slippery but you can get used to it after a few tries:)

I have always wanted to try SUPE when I first heard about the KL outlet... a rare offering of vegetarian Japanese food... but never had the chance to visit. However, fate as you may call it - as I'm in Penang for a short getaway.... walking, exploring Georgetown without any directions - I stumbled upon SUPE Penang! Situated around the corner from Lebuh Acheh, the restaurant poses an unassuming façade. It's a small "boutique" establishment that gives one a sense of being at home. The sitting is limited with mixed of tables & tatami. The menu is great, offering vegetarian alternatives of the usual seafood or meat based Japanese cuisine & sushi. Food is nice, flavourful with spices & fresh ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the sushi set! 😋 If you are a vegetarian like me & fancy Japanese food, I hope you will visit SUPE & try them out. You will not be disappointed 😉😉
