Saigon Bowl — Restaurant in George Town

If you're looking for incredible Vietnamese cuisine, look no further than Saigon Bowl. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm and friendly service, and that continued throughout my entire dining experience. The menu was packed with delicious options, and everything I tried was absolutely amazing.

The pho was some of the best I've ever had - the broth was rich and flavorful, and the noodles and meat were cooked to perfection. The banh mi was also fantastic - the bread was crusty on the outside and soft on the inside, and the fillings were fresh and delicious.

The restaurant itself is beautiful and welcoming, with comfortable seating and lovely decor. I also appreciated the attention to cleanliness and safety protocols - it's clear that the staff takes the health and safety of their customers seriously.

Disclaimer: I have never eaten authentic Vietnamese Beef Pho, so take this with some pinches of salt.

Ordered Pho Beef Slice, Pho Chicken Combo, Banh Knot, Saigon Dessert Platter, and a mango drink (Alphonso Yogurt something).

Waiter was kind enough to explain further on what the dish was, since it's our first visit there, and we barely know anything about Vietnamese cuisine. They recommended the Vanilla Pudding, but we wanted to try other dishes first 😅.

The Pho broth is not as beefy (and chickeny) as we thought it would be (from what I watched in YouTube of Pho, not specifically from this restaurant). The beef slices on the other hand, were very soft and tasted awesome. The Pho noodles were on point, so that's nice.

Banh Knot and Saigon Dessert Platter both are delightful snacks. Nothing wrong with deep fried foods 😂.

The mango drink is refreshing, probably because of the addition of yogurt into it.

The restaurant atmosphere was decent, no complaints....

really hope u guys can change ur employees. first thing they messed up my coffee order. I ordered iced black but they gave me filtered. the first staff didnt understand english at all, 5 min later another female staff came to me and made my order correct. secondly we waited 30+ minutes for our orders (it’s not even busy). thirdly, they messed up our food order once again, we ordered beef pho they gave us dry noodles so we talked to the staff, he seems blur, dk what to do and couldnt find our order at all. they were panicking and finally understood what was wrong after 10 min. Even after our food was served, they forgot our black coffee i had to remind them twice (during the entire time they made other tables drinks but forgot about mine even i came before them).
