Read moreAn underrated artisan ice cream shop in the town. They were established since 2013 and have been continuously serving choices of alcoholic and non alcoholic ice cream. All the ice creams were prepared whole heartedly by the shop owner couple with high quality and fresh ingredients. They might not be able to interact much with the customer as the shop is only run by the couple. They have more selection of ice cream at a cheaper price compared to the same internet hype ice cream shop along the same road. Regretted not discovering this shop earlier before I visited the another one. Only able to tried the Rum & Raisin flavour, boss was so cute to add on the small fish shape cookies on top of the ice cream. This flavour is bomb, my mum likes it very much, the flavour is harmonious with a pleasant strong flavour of Rum. It was RM10 for single scope as it was premium flavour. The shop has limited seats, but you do not need to queue upon entering the shop. The environment of the shop is so nice, decorated by plenty of natural plants. They might not have the fanciest interior but definitely serving the most homely feel dessert you could ask for. The 4 outdoor seats of rattan chair is the best spot where you can just sit and chill watching the cars and stranger pass by crossing the road enjoying your ice cream or coffee. Will definitely revisit the shop to try more of their ice cream...
Read moreI recently visited this ice cream shop and opted for their durian ice cream, which was priced at a premium compared to other flavors. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The durian ice cream was served semi-melted, and when I asked about it, the staff initially said, "it is like that." Only after further questioning did they admit there was a temperature issue with their fridge. What made matters worse was the lack of transparency. Instead of being upfront about the problem, the staff only acknowledged it after being pressed. Serving a faulty product without informing customers, yet still charging premium prices, is simply not acceptable. The waffle was also a letdown. It was overly sweet, which didnât pair well with the already sweet ice creamâmaking the combination overwhelmingly sugary. A good waffle should balance the flavors, not double up on the sweetness. On top of that, the coffee was just average and did not help redeem the experience. Overall, I expected much better quality and honesty, especially given the higher prices. I hope the shop improves both its product quality and customer service for...
