หนุ่ม​น้อย​เล่าว่า​ ที่นี่บูชาเทพองค์​เดียวคือ​ อากงกวนอู​ และเป็นวัด​แรกในปีนังที่เค้าอันเชิญเทพจีนมาสถิต​ย์​ ในปีนัง​ หนึ่งวัด​ มีได้แค่เทพหนึ่งองค์เท่านั้น​ ดั่งเช่นที่นี่​ มีแต่อากงกวนอู​ ตรงแท่นบูชา​ ตรงกลางมีอากง​ สองคนข้างๆ​ เป็นผู้ช่วยของอากง​ น้องยังเล่าอีกด้วยว่า​ ปกติกิมซิ้นของอากงปางนั่งตาจะปิดอยู่​ แต่หากอากงตาเปิด​ จะเป็​นป้านที่จะออกรบ
