3-star to get management’s attention and to give a fair review; explaining the key reason why this cafe often gets extreme 5-star or 1-star reviews.
I stumbled upon this place a day ago and was pleasantly surprised that they allowed us in with young kids, despite a note on the door stating that only children aged 10 and above are permitted. Perhaps it was because we arrived early and the place was relatively empty. The staff at the entrance gave us a quick briefing on the dos and don’ts regarding kids’ behavior, which we appreciated.
The food was great (as many other reviews have noted), and we genuinely enjoyed ourselves, especially the kids—what child wouldn’t? In fact, the café soon filled up with families with young children. I suspect that after letting us in, they felt obligated to admit other families as well. As responsible parents, we kept an eye on our kids, ensuring they didn’t get overly excited, and we left the café happy. There was one minor incident where my child dashed around a bit too quickly and was cautioned by the staff, but overall, the staff appeared to be monitoring the behavior of other children, who were just being kids.
The issue: We returned the very next day but were denied entry. This time, it was later in the afternoon, and we noticed there were no children inside. Fair enough—we considered ourselves lucky to have been admitted the previous day.
By the way, just a 5-minute walk from here is another café with a similar concept (The Catzland Café), which has no age restrictions, though the cats are a slightly different breed.
Now, some questions remain: Who are the “demonic brats tormenting the kitties,” and the “neglectful and pathetic parents” referred to in reviews posted that same day by the “Hussain brothers” using similar languages and their two heavily tattooed friends at the table of four who came in when there were already full of children? These individuals left 1-star reviews seemingly to validate their grievances. In fact, they even mentioned about them having read reviews of children visit before they came in a group to validate this and give more reviews??!
To management: Why the inconsistency in enforcing your “rules”? You’ve mentioned in other reviews that your policies apply to everyone (e.g., the rule that patrons must order at least one drink but not necessarily food). I also found older reviews including photos of young child, mentioning issues with children on the premises in the past - so that was not an exception for us.
Here’s my perspective: It’s business, right? When times are slow, you loosen the rules to allow children, but when you get negative reviews—perhaps from adults who don’t seem like parents—you revert to stricter policies.
My suggestion: You seem to have a good thing going here, so take this as constructive feedback. It’s clear that you have two distinct target audiences: families with young children and adults without kids. It’s a “good problem” to have, but it requires a solution. Please consider ways to cater to both groups effectively—perhaps with separate time slots or designated family-friendly days. Or learn from your competitors, etc.
Thank you, and I hope to visit your café again in the future to see your business thriving for all types...

Read moreReplied by the owner is so rude and not even apologise. Very emotional and can't accept the feedback. If I am not cats lover I won't visit this cafe. Pls see my last picture that I have few cats at home.
First and the last time to visit this cafe. The owner set the rule with "robbing mindset". You can Rob the tourists with 1 time off but for the locals, I would say your rule is unacceptable. Sorry all of us have brains. Why should I say so. Read until finish the story.
Was brief min spend RM25/pax either get a drink or drink and food.
6 of us went there and we understand the rule of min spend. 6 x RM25 is total RM150. (We know simple mathematics)
We order 5 drinks and 1 pasta, 1 fries, 2 croffles which is more than RM150. The staff was rule and insisted we need to pay another RM25/pax as a entrance fee.
From the bill in the photo attached definitely without the last RM25/pax we are paying more than enough the total bill of 6 (RM150). Why insisted us to add on additional RM25? It's doesn't make sense. How about if a baby or a kid below 10 yo? Still need to pay for RM25 which is they can't drink coffee/tea?
I love fur babies. I like to visit many pets cafe in Malaysia and overseas. None of the pets cafe that I visited not allowed to feed and carry them. They always welcome us to but cat/dog food to feed them which the cafe normally selling. We can hug, carry, stroke and play with them to take pictures at one of the corners in the cafe.
However this muckhin cafe let the cats running around freely. All the cat furs been flying over the food which is not huygens at all with no feeding and hugging.
Only this pets cafe set all the stupid and ridiculous rules. No flexibility to do business.
The drinks just come with a plastic without any logo. Why should I pay for RM25 entrance fee to get a drink like pasar malam or kopitiam which is worth less than RM5?
Those who wanted and planned to visit pls think twice before you enter. Otherwise wise you will get "rob" by the owner.
No more next time. Don't think...
