Chinatown Penang refers to the area bounded by Campbell Street, CintraStreet, Rope Walk , Market Street and Kuala Kangsar. In this vicinity there are two markets, Campbell Street Market and Chowrasta Market with the latter still thriving and popular while the other is almost dead. My hidden gem is a Curry Mee stall which has been faithfully patronised by the people who still do their marketing there and tourists who have heard of this delicacy. Why is this Curry Mee so special? Let my description make you drool and crave for this dish. The gravy is not so rich in coconut milk In fact, it is quite clear soup but once you add the chillie to the piping hot soup, the fragrance of the chillie rises to your nostrils even before it is `wallop' by you. The usual Curry Mee condiments are given, Tau Pok, Pig's blood Cuttle Fish and optional Prawns. You are even given some sprigs of Mint Leaves to complete this ' Out of this world' taste. Highly recommended to ask for more chillie if you can endure the real spiciness You may need to put up with the fishy smell as it is outside the Campbell Street market on the side of Campbell Street. Bon Appetit. Comments are...

It looks like an art exhibition, and each display (I mean sidewalk) reflects the owner's taste and personality.
This sidewalk design is truly suitable for places with hot-humid climate and frequent rains. It provides shelter from rain and sun. It's not only safer and cleaner but also encourages people to...
