One of my go to around KSL. The lady boss and staff there are friendly.
Food wise, I like how they do their kueh teow. It is firm and sauce goes well with the rice noodles. I usually order medium or large. The highlight of this shop is that the food prepared does not smell or taste too gamey compared to other stalls.
Drinks wise, i am a kopi lover and naturally I have tried their kopi before and it is on the bland side. Instead, I would recommend to order the amberella drink aka balonglong or kedongdong. Not the best since its not freshly made but still does its job in cleansing your palette especially on a humid afternoon.
Hygiene wise, this stall appears cleaner than other stalls.
Overall, this stall will be my go to and unsure why the rating seems lower than what I expected. Do give it a try and support if you like!

Read moreTotally gone down the drain. Ordered four bowls, got all the orders wrong. We specifically requested for the kids portion to exclude pork liver, however when it was served, all the lean meat was missing, and the kids were served with a large portion of pork liver. One of the orders was for dry yellow noodle, yet we were served a mixture of noodle and kuey teow. The staff seemed to imply we made a mistake during ordering. When we refused to accept, she said okay, and went to the sink, dug out and threw away the kuey teow, and promptly served us the remaining noodle. We have eaten here for years, being locals ourselves. But it was the first time we got this disastrous service, and it clearly coincides with the absence of the lady boss. If you do not see the nice lady boss around, refrain from...
Read moreGot to know of this stall selling Kway teow around KSL. Happen to stay around the area and decided to check out this place for breakfast. Reached the stall around 9am, place wasn't packed, managed to get a table easily. The kway teow comes in 3 size with prices starting from MYR$10 onwards. There are 4 different types of noodles to choose from and they they offer both soup and dry.
Ordered the medium portion which was MYR$15, had the soup with the dry kway teow. The bowl of soup came with ingredients like minced and sliced pork, mock abalone, liver, kidney and fishball. Kway teow was nice, sauce was well balanced. Soup was tasty, quite like it.
Overall, I enjoyed my meal. Would definitely recommend this place. Seems like I would go there often if I happen to...
