Kitty was getting her nails, lashes, and hair done at KSL, and I was tag-along duty, as usual. We were wandering around, and suddenly, this irresistible craving hit Kitty for some treats from Ming Ang Confectionery. She grabbed a piece of their Org Tausa C. Floss, and a salted egg yolk biscuit, saying, 'We'll share, Doraemon'.
I was a little sceptical, as I'm not usually a big sweets guy. But Kitty insisted, so I agreed. While she was paying, she spotted their Crispy Prawn Chilli and decided to pick some up for her mum. She's always looking for new things to share with her family.
We devoured the Org Tausa C. Floss and the salted egg yolk biscuit, and they were both amazing! Kitty loved the Org Tausa C. Floss. She said it was light, fluffy, and perfectly sweet. I have to admit, I was impressed, too. It was a perfect blend of sweetness. The salted egg yolk biscuit was a satisfying, crumbly treat with a rich and savoury flavour.
The whole place is a treasure trove of treats. They've got everything from traditional Chinese sweets to savoury snacks, The queue was a bit long when we were there, but Kitty said it's totally worth the wait. It's a pretty popular spot.
Kitty said that the packaging could be a little more visually appealing and that it would be great if they had a more efficient queue management system. But overall, we had a great time at Ming Ang Confectionery. It's a fantastic place to grab a sweet (or...

Donkey and I were at KSL running errands – I was doing my nails, lashes, hair. Passing by Ming Ang Confectionery, a sudden craving hit me for their treats. I grabbed a piece of their Org Tausa C. Floss and a salted egg yolk biscuit to share with Donkey. While paying, I also spotted their Crispy Prawn Chilli and decided to pick some up for my mum to try.
Both the Org Tausa C. Floss and the salted egg yolk biscuit were delicious. The Org Tausa C. Floss was a personal favorite – it was light and fluffy, perfectly sweet. The salted egg yolk biscuit offered a satisfying crumbly texture and rich, savory flavor. The Crispy Prawn Chilli seems promising, and I'm looking forward to hearing my mum's feedback.
The variety at Ming Ang Confectionery is impressive, offering everything from traditional Chinese sweets to savory snacks. While the long queue during our visit might deter some, the quality of the confectioneries easily makes up for the wait.
Areas for improvement: The presentation could be enhanced with more visually appealing packaging. A more efficient queue management system would also significantly improve the customer experience.
Overall: Ming Ang Confectionery at KSL is a great spot for a sweet (and savory!) treat. The Org Tausa C. Floss is a must-try! I highly recommend a visit, even if it means braving a...

There’s pretty much always a queue but it does move quite fast and chances are you’d be traveling with at least one person so you can take turns queueing and taking a look at what else you want to purchase from them.
We got our favourite Char Siew Sou, eating when it’s freshly baked and warm is the best but it keeps well so even when we bring it home and heat it up, it still tastes great. The pastry is not too thick, just the right amount of flaky and the Char Siew portion is proportionate to the size.
This time round, Dad decided to give the pineapple cake a shot. He’s our pineapple tart connoisseur, he loves them and he’s very particular! He took a bite and pondered for a minute before indicating that it had passed, which means that’s it’s good but not on his top 3. The cake was a little dense and “cui cui”, it broke apart really easily but the taste of the pineapple was good.
The rest of us went for the Popo Muruku snacks, the fried onions and the lemongrass oil - this was really fragrant.
Service is good and prompt, even with the queue and the ladies at the counter are still polite...
