CHAGEE @ Mount Austin — Restaurant in Johor

Have been a fan of chagee and visited different branch in KL and JB. Drinks are great as usual, but the staffs here really have an attitude.

Queued at the counter, but the staff directed us to order via app to get member benefits. Asked us to retry and retry but only ‘informed’ us later that they closed the app WAY BEFORE closing time. Staff said they always close it earlier. This is fine, but how can the staff not knowing it’s closed, have me to re-queue physically and re-order on the app multiple times?

then there’s another staff being SUPER RUDE when asking us to leave. We were chatting and accidentally lost track of their closing time (which we definitely did not intend so), we understood that staff need to get off work too so we IMMEDIATELY replied okay and prepared to leave. He did not even give us a few seconds to prepare, yet repeatedly saying in an unpleasant and demanding tone that they are closing and even IMITATED the way my friend and myself speak LOUDLY. The staff could have told us earlier if they really need us to go at this ‘sharp timing’, as he didn’t even allow me to finish my one sentence talk with my friend.

This series of bad experiences are completely avoidable. Posting this experience so the management can acknowledge this and give proper training to your staffs. We as customer, paid service fees or taxes are not to get this kind of...
