There's new year surcharge that they did not inform beforehand, even during ordering. Place is fraught with flies and other crawlies even though we sat outdoors, but what spoiled the experience the most were PERSISTENT touters that cannot take a hint or rejection. We literally had to stare them down and they came back with a new product to push anyway. We turned no less than a dozen attempts away. Indoors look like a potential fire hazard waiting to happen. Waiter kept getting us to over-order which was very annoying. Parking was super disorganised and the tables were set up too close to the exhaust fumes, absolutely ruining the experience. Food taste-wise was disappointing and not value for money, plus the overall sus levels of cleanliness, I highly do not recommend anyone making the trip here. They do not deserve their high rating of 4.5 stars. They claim they make their own tofu for the hotpot tofu... blatant lie. Salted egg sotong which was claimed to be their signature was an over battered and not exactly fresh sotong with barely discernable salted egg flavour. I would never come here again and I don't recommend that you do either.
Desserts from a nearby stall were...

Last of all the food is dead average and very expensive for the quantity and quality. Never again but will go back for Hai Kee which...
