Was looking forward to dining here but sadly, we didn't have a pleasant experience dining here.
A simple feedback to management is to learn from other establishments. If some (in this case, it was alot of dishes) are unavailable, you can tape across that specific dish on the menu and state that it's unavailable. So that customers are aware and won't waste time checking 1 by 1 with your staff which is available and which are not. It's really an unpleasant experience for both parties because your staff also wasn't sure if other dishes were available. The management should provide proper training and brief the staff at the start of the day what dishes are available and what are not.
Also, I got charged extra RM3 for mayonaise, which was not informed by the staff. RM3 is not alot of money so it's not much of an issue. But what bothers me is that I wasn't informed about the extra charges for extra sauce. I have never encountered such service before, all the restaurants and bars I've been to have never charged us extra for sauce without informing us about the extra charges in advance. Times are hard now and costs are increasing, hence I can understand the extra charges for sauce. However, I believe this is not the right way to do business.
And by the way, I don't think it was fair to charge me extra for extra mayonaise. I requested for extra mayonaise because I was served chilli sauce and mayonaise in 1 saucer. Why would you assume every customer takes chilli sauce? You could have at least serve both sauces in those kind of saucer that has 2 seperate compartments. However if providing 2 sauces is too financially straining for your business, you can choose to provide just 1 sauce and ask customer which sauce they prefer.
Vibes were great, service was fast and efficient, staff were friendly but lack of communication among the staff. We really wanted to return for more drinks and live band but overall it was a disappointing experience hence we didn't return and ended up buying drinks back to our hotel room instead. "We arrived at fives hotel @ 9:28pm and my friends was stocked there because we are still looking for parking slot, after that we arrived at McGregor and I said I reserved a table for 3 of us," and she said “(CO HOST)”, "my manager told me to remove your name from the table because you didn't reply? but I replied that we are on the way! After about 15 minutes of sitting, she replied (miss angela)"sorry we have to release all the reservations. you may walk in " but the other table didn't remove the reservation from their table? in spite of everything I thought, is this her personal issue with me? and she knows that we are big spenders of MCGREGOR FOR ALMOST YEARS, it's just we are late in 15mins so sad because they have a great singers boss (Kelvin) and their supervisor Veena, who patiently takes care of us there. because they know that we always go there. from my side who also work in F&B we have a reservation but i got say my limit and the limit is up to one hour but her’s was only 15mins the reservation was immediately removed, you explain to your regular customers so they know what time is your limit? u are in management and u know the rules and u can explain to us nicely, it's not about your high position or do whatever, I don't care about losing your big spender in your company, This company pays you and u beed to treat us nicely! we are spending there for RM1000plus I hope you will give us consideration even if we are late by 15mins. This is the second time going here. They have updated their signature crispy chicken tender sauce. This time I brought my friend to go together with me. We were both very happy to enjoy the cocktail.

Bourbon boi (5/5) I highly recommend this cocktail you must try. Make it using local ingredients. Trust me, you like it, but a bit sweet. If you want to try a Malaysian-style cocktail, try it.
Mushroom soup as a normal standard and serving with garlic bread. The bread is soft and crispy.
Pizza is delicious, but too much flour on pizza. The flour will stick on your hand, and you will need to use wet tissue to remove it. If not, you will like the picture I am showing.
Tiger Prawn Aglio Olio is nice. but the fresh, strong Prawn taste fully covers Aglio Olio. I'm not sure; I'm eating prawn noodles or aglio olio...
