Space Cafe, located on the ground floor of Holiday Villa hotel, has quickly become one of my favorite spots to grab a coffee and relax, especially when Iโm in the area servicing my car from the row of workshops just opposite. The cafรฉ specializes in pastries and coffee drinks, but what sets it apart is its dedication to providing unique coffee offerings that are typically found in specialty coffee joints. This commitment to quality and innovation is what keeps me coming back.
On my recent visit, I decided to try something different โ the Prugna Cold Brew Coffee. This unique brew stood out on the menu, and I was curious to see how it would compare to the more traditional cold brews Iโve tried before. I wasnโt disappointed. The Prugna Cold Brew had a distinct flavor profile, combining the smoothness of cold brew with a subtle fruity note that was both refreshing and intriguing. What made the experience even more special was the personal touch from the staff. When they served the coffee, they thoughtfully nudged me to ask if I wanted to take a video of the pour, which I found to be a nice gesture that shows their attention to customer experience.
The staff at Space Cafe are consistently upbeat and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. On this visit, one of the staff members even recognized me and asked if I had been there before, which made me feel valued as a customer. Itโs these little touches that make Space Cafe stand out and make each visit feel personal and enjoyable.
Whenever I need to kill time while waiting for my car to be serviced, I always choose to stop by Space Cafe. The ambiance is perfect for unwinding, whether youโre enjoying a quiet moment alone or catching up with a friend. The cafรฉโs comfortable setting, combined with its high-quality coffee offerings, makes it a go-to spot for me. I can always count on Space Cafe for a great cup of coffee and a pleasant experience.
In summary, Space Cafe is more than just a place to grab a coffee โ itโs a place where you can enjoy unique and expertly crafted coffee drinks in a friendly and inviting environment. Whether youโre a coffee enthusiast or just looking for a cozy spot to relax, I highly recommend dropping by Space Cafe anytime youโre in the area. Itโs a gem of a cafรฉ that never fails to deliver a...
ย ย ย Read moreVisited on a weekend morning. Place was quite crowded but managed to get a seat. Quite surprised the queue for ordering was pretty long so took a while to get mine taken. I thought there was still the red bean and butter bread but looks like they change the pastries based on what they have, and all they have are on display except for the cheesecake. Ordered the drink and cheesecake, and wanted to get another pastry. To my surprise the staff told me a lot or items were already unavailable as they were ordered by the customers in front of the queue. There were like only 3 mango Danish on display and that's all they have? Ended up ordering a pain au chocolat instead. Paid and then was told would take up to 20 minutes for items to be served? 20 minutes just for pastries and drinks? They have 3 staff running the cafe with one taking orders, one making drinks and one heating the pastries, so I dont know if they are understaffed or slow. Food and drinks were decent. The matcha strawberry was okay, the cheesecake was actually quite good and I would recommend ordering that. The pain au chocolat was very crispy and flaky too which I liked. The round seating area which I sat initially was quite uncomfortable with the back on the sharp curvature. The seats were also pretty badly stained and gave a dirty impression. The place is decent but quite limited for me as a non coffee drinker. Perhaps its worth a try visiting as they have quite interesting coffee drinks. Two entrances you can get in from the side of the hotel lobby or the...

Focusing largely on French pastries, its menu complete with food and beverages give reason for customers to settle down whilst taking in the city views.

The base of the dish, the sourdough, was sadly a little too tough and dry, a trying experience to enjoy with the mix of prawn, tomato and roe-filled mayonnaise. The spread had a spicy kick that lingered for too long, distracting from the taste of seafood one would hope to relish from this dish. The egg, though runny inside, was not exactly poached but its mild savoury taste worked well with the dish.
Amongst its other bakes, the ๐๐ต๐ผ๐ฐ๐ผ๐น๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ ๐๐ผ๐๐ด๐ต๐ป๐๐ is a simple treat worth checking out. The chocolate custard filling is generous, filling up a significant portion of the donut which enriches every bite of this small dessert.
Aside from coffee and tea, the cafe serves up a mean beverage, the ๐ช๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฒ๐น๐ผ๐ป ๐ง๐ฒ๐ฎ ๐ง๐ผ๐ป๐ถ๐ฐ, to complete oneโs meal. Using Schweppes tonic water as the main ingredient, the drink is smooth and refreshing with a slight bitterness at the end. Nonetheless, the sweetness feels all-natural from the hints of watermelon and tea essence. Extra compliments to the flavour-rich dried watermelon slice that...
