Restoran SS9 — Restaurant in Johor

Love the ambiance (especially late evening) and the huge fans keeps this place windy even if it is a particularly hot night. What I don't love however is how passive the employees are. We had a visit here and we were visited by a very hungry cat that is not afraid to jump on tables for food. Being cat lovers, we don't mind the cat of course. But what I do mind is how the employees were just looking at us carrying the cat down from our table over and over and did nothing. Again, I don't mind the cat. First and LAST Visit on 14/7/24, evening. No more next time. Worse experience sbb bawa parents nk enjoy dinner and vibe makan malam.

Atmosphere : Cantik, selesa, luas.

Service : First time datang, waiter terus bagi pelbagai jenis menu : Ini bagus Tapi waiter (kakak indo) jenis tak sabar, tak bagi masa, terus tanya nk makan apa, nk minum apa..tak sempat nk tgok2 menu..mmg akan jenis memyibuk dan memaksa utk order cepat. Takpe masih boleh bersabar. ambik order laju, tapi nak follow up hantar makanan, ada yg tertinggal tunggu lama, sampai kena panggil 2-3 waiter lain.

Food : Mak saya order set sup tulang : Worst sup tulang ever: Sup tak panas. Sup tawar, rasa macam kena tambah air. Sayur kangkung/ kailan belacan : dia punya air kuar dah macam air sup penuh banjir, sayur sikit. Lagi teruk dari mamak style yg nak cuba masak masakan melayu. Nasi datang lambat, makin menyampah nk makan sup yg makin sejuk.

Akhirnya, mak decide utk bungkus semua makanan dan balik rumah adjust masak sendiri. Automatik jadi sedap. Tapi kekecewaan dia mmg tak boleh bawa bincang. Adik waiter (bukan yg ambik order) pun terkejut : makanan belum sentuh lagi kenapa tiba2 dah nak bungkus semua bawa balik? Dia punya muka hairan tak boleh tahan 🤣

Yang berjaya kami dihabiskan hanyalan minuman.

Oh tak lupa juga, kami ada order SATAY. Kerana mak teringin nak makan satay lah kami sampai kt sini. Saya komen sikit pasal satay: Biasa-biasa saja KUAH CAIR. TAK SEDAP. Kalau nk makan satay kat johor ni jangan lah makan sini. Satay wak radol desa cemerlang sedap, tapi jauh nk singgah masa tu.

HARGA SANGAT MAHAL UNTUK MAKANAN YANG TAK SEDAP DAN TAK JAGA KUALITI. HANYA BERHARAP PADA TEMPAT YANG ADA VIBE UTK LEPAK. Next time nak lepak, order minum je lah kat sini.

I went to SS9 with friends last week. The premise was clean, wide variety of foods including satay, steak, Thai cuisine, seafood. I tried satay wak radol along with seafood tom yam and new sup tulang. The satay were juicy, tender and delicious. The price was 20% more expensive compare to other wak radol's franchise. The service was relatively quick. However you can only pay by cash and need to pay upfront - credit/debit card or apps payment was not available. Finding parking spots can be an issue as well.
