Came on a Friday evening around 6pm, restaurant was not too crowded. Ordered the 酸菜鱼(MYR41.80),辣子鸡(MYR41.80),豆角(MYR19.80)&招牌黑糖冰粉(MYR13.90)。
The 酸菜鱼 was generous with ingredients and included enoki mushrooms, noodles, fried and sliced fish, and preserved veggie. Unfortunately the fried fish was filled with bones and the soup was a tad too sour.
辣子鸡 is amazing! They gave diced chicken without bones and lots of peppercorn with dried chilli so gotta be careful when eating. 10/10 would order it again!
The long bean was good and flavourful too!
Personal favourite is the signature dessert which was a tad sweet but otherwise, has great texture amidst the peanuts, watermelon and various jelly. Will be back to try...
Read more辣子鸡 looks good but the taste never really absorb. The bullfrog item is spicy but not really fragrant. The beef item is the best but its common. Price wise its not cheap for jb. 辣子鸡 already 38rm and not alot. I think the one i ate in kuching is still the best. Worth a try? Probably can try the double tier hotpot but make sure u find more people as it seems to be quite a big pot. I did not manage to try it as i want to try variety for review purposes. Might come back and try the hotpot style next round, if i cant find...

All their spices are on point, fragrant and spicy. We're surprised it is not too crowded, but I bet it will.
They will also offer to help you de shell the crayfish for free. So that you don't need to get into a mess from eating all the oil and spice food.
Highly recommended. Will...
