Honestly, the food is relatively lackluster. There wasn't any dish which caught my attention especially after all that hype from the waiter. However, i think it was pretty nice of the waiter to sit at our table and patiently recommend the restaurant dishes to us (though all of them tasted pretty normal) Sambal kankong was alright, the sotong dish in their special sauce was pretty disappointing since I was expecting something special. However it was just sweet and sour pork sauce with a hint of spice drizzled on the sotong. The cereal prawns was disappointing since the prawns weren't fresh. I didn't really enjoy the taste of Tom yum soup since it was alittle too sweet to my liking, however there were tons of seafood in it so I guess it is value for money? The black pepper crab was also alright, I mean it is fresh but it taste like any other black pepper crab dishes which you can find elsewhere
Overall, I think the food is value for money since the total cost was pretty cheap. However in terms of taste alone I would just say it's alright (don't expect anything mind blowing...

Read moreI just had my Hari Raya 3 days holidays in JB and I happened to just googled and walked into Chang Man Seafood. And I was happy with 3 things. In fact, absolutely surprises. (1) Despite a long long queue, the few captains were patience, friendly, smilingly directing, pre-introducing the customers accordingly, (2)The food is simply FRESH very FRESH and the cooking is very good. Better than most of the others Seafoods restaurant I tasted in JB and Permas Jaya. (3) The price is total transparent and low (for a KSL walking location). Day 1, I ordered a prawn dish, + 4 other dished (non seafood) for 5 pax, it cost only RM180. The food was so good that my family decided to go round 2 for 2nd day's dinner, this time we ordered all the signatures seafood and there were really well cooked and tasty. I am coming back. Well done kitchen and service team....
