🐣 Nasi Campur Top BBQ – Worth the Hype?
🐣 We stumbled upon this place thanks to TikTok (yep, guilty as charged 😅). We had no idea what to eat and ended up here for a plate of nasi campur basically a rice dish with a mix of proteins and sides. The place is actually pretty big with a spacious seating area, and it was super packed during lunch hour, so clearly a local favorite.
🐣 The menu had a decent number of options, but strangely, nothing really jumped out at me. It felt like a lot, but also... not that much? 😂 I was kinda lost trying to decide. Like many nasi campur joints, I was hoping for sambal paru (that spicy fried cow lung dish), but nope not on the menu.

They have a wide variety of dishes — from curries and sambal to traditional kampung-style meals and grilled fish. Everything we tried was delicious and tasted just like home-cooked food. The dining area is spacious and comfortable, making it ideal for families or groups.
There were six of us, and we took a bit of everything — with drinks too — and the total was only RM57. That’s incredibly cheap for the amount and quality of food we got. The cashier was also very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. If you’re not sure where to go for lunch in Langkawi, definitely give this place a shot. Great food, great value, and a...
Read moreGreat food, pretty much no service. That’s ok, because I came for the food. For non-Malays, you grab a plate first, then load up on food and pay at the counter (when you eventually find it) for an unknown, yet cheap amount. As with a lot of places in Langkawi, watch out for the flies and stray kittens. But man that food is good. Another tip, suss the place out and watch for freshly cooked and heated food coming out from the kitchen -...
