Taj palace Restaurant — Restaurant in Langkawi Island

We have been using the Taj Palace at least twice a week since finding it 5 weeks ago. The Indian menu is not too extensive, but more than adequate. It is because of this, that what they do serve is absolutely top notch. We have tried pretty much everything on the Indian Menu and cannot complain. Well spiced, full of flavour and good sized portions for sharing. We have also tried the Arabian Menu, again we cannot complain about the flavours or portion sizes. Our only complaint is the noise that the chairs make on the floor, horrible screeching when 8 people are trying to sit down and also the extremely bright lighting. Kill the chair noises, turn down the lights slightly and play some soft Indian music to improve...

First visit to this new restaurant and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was and a waiter that knew their menu.

On the second visit, we had a different waiter who wasn’t great and messed up our food order. On top of this and really serious bit is that he informed us that the dishes we ordered contained no nuts when in fact they did as we checked with the waiter from our first visit. Having a nut allergy sufferer in the group could have been life threatening had we not checked the ingredients with a more capable waiter. I would give it a one star for the second visit due the ineptitude of the waiter who requires health and safety training as well as basic English and until then should not be waiting...

This is a wonderful Indian Restaurant serving North Indian, Arabic and Asean food. About 10 minutes walking distance from the main Kuah Town Easily accessible and ample parking bays When we went in the ambiance greeted us with warm colour and beautiful mini chandeliers. This felt very calm and cosy The food was truly excellent and adhered to our pallet. You can tell them if you want to be spicier or otherwise To us it was just nice as we don't eat spicy food The crews were very welcoming and very patient Being Vegetarian, this place did not disappoint us. Truly amazing They have plenty of Vegetarian Options with reasonable portion and pricing
