If I could give zero star, I would give to rate the customer service. The Chinese lady who seems to be the owner is extremely rude. They don't have half of the items on the menus. There were 6 of us and wanted to sit on the round table. The bosses lady and men pushed us to the square table, which could only accommodate 4 pax. We 6 had to squeeze in to sit on the 4 sitter table. They claimed that the round tables were reserved. We didn't see anyone coming into this restaurant other than us. Food quantity horribly small. Please don't come here if you would like to have a peaceful good day. Their customer service will leave you frustrated and disrespected.
Edit: I wanted to give them another chance and visited the restaurant again two days later as we had no other choice of food restaurants near the hotel we stayed at, and we were extremely hungry. The Chinese lady again was showing pure negligence and had an indifferent attitude. On top of getting our orders wrong, she reluctantly kept repeating, 'okay lor cancel order'. Without feeling guilty for taking the orders wrongly despite several reminders, she just seemed unbothered when asked about the wrong order that was served us. When we order coffee. They served us tea. We told them no sugar, but they gave us full sweetness. Like so many other orders were wrong. There was hair in my watermelon drink when I had called on the waiter wearing tudong, a chubby lady wearing tons of makeup. She just walked past as if she didn't hear a thing or as of she was deaf and blind. Ordered Kway Teow with fish, they said there's no fish and so she asked if I would like to have fish cakes and prawns instead. I said okay, then when the food was served, there were no fishcakes and the prawns were undercooked and the food smelled very foul. When called upon to show how the prawns were undercooked and smelled, the lady boss walked past us and didn't bother to change the order or recook the food. No empathy and felt sorry for the very nasty actions of theirs. Worst experience of poorest customer...
Read moreI was in Kuah, Langkawi for a one day business trip from Kuala Lumpur and I was looking for a place to have lunch. All the restaurants I used to go were closed, so I decided to try this Thai restaurant that I found on the way. The staff were very friendly and helpful, most of them were from Thailand and some of them couldn't speak Malay yet. They suggested a special menu for me and my mom, since we didn't know what to order. We ordered seafood tomyam, salted eggs softshell crab, a deep fried fish with kerabu mangga covering the whole fish, and few more dishes. The food was amazing! It was authentic, spicy, and flavorful. I have never tasted anything like this in Kuala Lumpur. The only downside was that the drinks were just ok, nothing special. The air-conditioning unit was also not working, but they had fans to cool us down. The restaurant was not crowded during our visit, but I think it would be more popular at night. I would definitely go back to this restaurant if I ever visit Langkawi again and try other dishes. This is one of the best Thai restaurants I have...
Read moreThe food and the service is okay but the price is too much for 4 adult and 1 kid which is rm496.00...they charge rm290 for only 2 fish where their billed mentioned the fish each weight 1.45kg...and the wastage of the fish(bones and head) it self should be more than half kg each fish and its too much to pay more than rm100 just for the wastage of the fish. Atleast they should confirm the price before they prepere the dish..people come from outside just want to enjoy their vacation..but this type of restaurants just spoil their vacation mood..felt like badly cheated by this restaurant...and another thing, they gave a normal receipt book bill without their company name and even they charge us sst 10%.. related departments should take action on this type of restaurants...people who wants to go to this restaurant...pls confirm the total amount before order, they do give menu with price tag but for seafood ,they didnt mention the actual price, instead they mentioned as rm10 for 100gm...so checked the seafood weight...
