Craft Origin Cafe — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

This place is amazing! They offered the best coffee and showed the best attitude to its costumers. This place is indeed perfect for reading and chilling out. It was very quiet, not many people (I came on Sunday around 12-2) and air-conditioned. Since I used to hang out at Brew & Bread, Common Man etc, I think just want to keep coming back to this place because of the serenity, cozy and less people (I hope it stays like that but well, it might not good for their business haha)

Food: 5/5 We ordered the chicken pesto pasta. Highly recommended. Blueberry cheesecake is okay. The cookie can be improved.

Coffee: 5/5 We ordered artisanal coffee. Just tell them your preference (nutty, fruity, strong etc) and they will make one for you (I'm not that particular on the beans & process, but you can ask them in details if you want). Of course, they meet my expectation and it was fresh & smoother. The salted caramel latte was great too!

Ambience: 5/5 Love the soothing music sound and the minimalist design.

Service: 5/5 Well-mannered, thoughtful and humble.

Craft origin in short is a comfortable place to have quiet conversions why enjoying good coffee. The location for this cafe is quite good because there are ample parking space but only on the weekends. The ambience of the place is 'clean' where everything is of pastel colors of pink and white. The furniture is comfortable and the placement of tables is generous with space. There is also outdoor seating where people can enjoy their morning coffee with the light gentle morning breeze and some comforting warm morning sunlight. Air conditioning there is very good maybe because there are not many people there yet. There are plug points mostly on the wall side which is close to the wall, perfect for digital nomads. The coffee as mentioned is good, I had the double espresso which pack quite a punch. I also had the salted caramel chocolate cake, which honestly, heavenly. The cafe has a nice aesthetic, has an upper story specially for those in larger groups. I came with about 10 people and got the upstairs place.

It was nice and cozy and we were able to have a good time chatting and catching up with each other.

Price-wise: Quite pricey, about RM40 per pax. (If you order one drink one meal) Drinks-wise: I feel that everything has less sugar in it - more of a person's preference. Food-wise: My dad loved the food. For me it was up to standard, but not exactly amazing.

We ordered a lot: the Pasta was nice - (ordered both Chicken & Mushroom Aglio Olio - nice taste but not very flavorful). Also Salted-Egg based spaghetti; 8/10 but it has bittergourd so be aware. Portion wise was big. The salted egg rice bowl was good; about 7/10
