Emily's Steakhouse came about when they realised there simply were very few restaurants serving hearty meals in a 'down to earth' setting with real homemade chips and unmolested ingredients such as a prime cut steak. 🥳 There are 3 branches: KL, Ipoh and Penang , & ofc their main branch is in Derby, UK. The interior design is inspired by UK royalty & colonial era setting to give the vibes of dining in the UK. 👑🇬🇧 All steaks are char grilled based on UK Method which is lightly seasoned to showcase the original taste of the meat and salt & pepper are available for diners to add according to their tastebud. 𝑽𝑰𝑷 𝒓𝒐𝒐𝒎𝒔 are available in all 3 branches to cater for small events and mini celebration. 🎈
𝑭𝑰𝑹𝑺𝑻 𝑪𝑳𝑨𝑺𝑺 𝑪𝑯𝑨𝑹-𝑮𝑹𝑰𝑳𝑳𝑬𝑫 𝑺𝑻𝑬𝑨𝑲 (Premium Australian Graded Steaks) Ribeye 12 oz (340gm) ~ RM128 This was the BEST STEAK EVER 😍🥩 I never liked steak because it’s always tough and chewy but Emily’s Steakhouse definitely changed my perception of it!! Ribeye steaks are famous for its flavour. ♨️ As its name suggests, it is a cut from the rib area with an "eye" of fat and marbling. When chargrilled, this marbling flairs to creates lots of flavour and add juiciness. Delicious! I chose medium well (35% cooked on each side leaving the middle 30% pink no blood) 🥩👍🏻 The marbling on this ribeye was exceptional, creating a rich and buttery mouthfeel that was truly indulgent. The meat was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of give and resistance to the bite. It was clear that this steak had been prepared with great care and attention to detail, resulting in a dish that was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. 🤤⭐️ In short, this ribeye steak was a true delight for the senses, a masterful execution of culinary artistry that left me feeling deeply satisfied and thoroughly impressed. It was, without a doubt, one of the best steaks I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing, and one that I will not soon forget. 🐮❤️ 𝑮𝒓𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝑹𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝒐𝒇 𝑳𝒂𝒎𝒃 (RM78) 🐑 - 2 lamb rack cook with thyme herb mint sauce served with homemade chips and side garnish! Very tender meat and you can taste the difference from regular grilled lamb as this had a premium sensation to it. The meat just felt so pure and succulent. With each bite, the meat practically melted in my mouth, leaving behind a rich and indulgent aftertaste that lingered long after the last morsel had been consumed. 🫦 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒊𝒅𝒐𝒓 𝑿𝑿𝑿𝑿𝑳 𝑾𝒊𝒍𝒅 𝑻𝒊𝒈𝒆𝒓 𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒘𝒏 (RM118) - Giant size tiger prawn 250 gm+ baked with cheddar cheese. As the name says it, this giant tiger prawn is HUMUNGOUS! 😱😱 Moments after the plate hit our table, we already found ourselves oafishly tearing through the blissfully luscious flesh like junkies, desperately clamouring for the next hit of that addictive cheese, butter, and potato concoction. It's like developing a drug problem, but it's legal. And delicious.🦐🧀 Majestic scarlet-hued body resting elegantly on a shimmering pool of golden decadence. 💛 𝑭𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒉 𝑩𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝑺𝒂𝒍𝒎𝒐𝒏 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑷𝒐𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒐 𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏 (RM78) 🐟- Norwegian salmon fillet baked with mushroom sauce and cheese. I recently celebrated my birthday at Emily’s Steakhouse KL, and I must say, it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The food, the service, and the ambiance all contributed to a wonderful evening, and I’m delighted to share my review.
We began with the Chicken Salad, and it was absolutely delightful. The dressing had a perfect balance of sweetness and tangy vinegar, making every bite refreshing and flavorful. The combination of fresh greens and well seasoned chicken made it a great start to the meal.
The Salmon Parcel was also delicious, with well-cooked salmon wrapped in a flavorful parcel. However, for RM28, I did find the portion a little on the smaller side. Despite that, the taste was spot on, and the ingredients were fresh.
For mains, we had a variety of dishes:
Traditional Fish and Chips. The batter was beautifully crispy and well-seasoned, giving the fish a wonderful texture and taste. The fries were good, but I personally would have preferred them to be a little crispier for that extra crunch.
Burger with Steak and Mushrooms. This was an absolute winner! The combination of juicy steak and mushrooms was perfect. Every bite was flavorful, and the portion was satisfying.
Spaghetti Con Polpette. The pasta was cooked al dente, just the way I like it, and the red sauce was rich and well-balanced. The meatballs were cooked to perfection tender, juicy, and full of flavor. A truly comforting dish!
Seafood en Papillote. The seafood was fresh and perfectly cooked, with all the flavors nicely sealed in the parchment paper. Every bite was infused with a light yet delicious seasoning that complemented the seafood beautifully.
Apart from the great food, the service was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout the meal. The restaurant also has a warm and cozy atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience.
Overall, my birthday dinner at Emily’s Steakhouse KL was a memorable experience. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the ambiance made it even better. While there were minor things that could be improved (like slightly crispier fries and a bigger portion for the salmon parcel), they were small details in an otherwise fantastic meal.
I would definitely recommend Emily’s Steakhouse KL to anyone looking for a great...

I’m giving Emily’s Steakhouse in KL a 5-star for five reasons: Steak, Chips, Ambiance, Staff, and Overall dining experience. Now I know why the steak here appeals to the palate of both the locals and expats.
Emily’s char grilled steak was juicy and cooked really nicely. Once you take a bite of the steak, there’s a smoky flavor to it, at the same time juicy and tasty. I will never forget that first bite of the steak. We had the regular Ribeye cooked medium to almost medium well. It was surprisingly great to be honest for a regular steak. It doesn’t melt in your mouth unlike when eating a wagyu BUT for me it was actually satisfying enough. It was delicious, cooked perfectly according to my preference, and juicy. The ribeye is priced at RM98 which for me is reasonable given the size of the steak, the quality of how it’s cooked, and more importantly the taste. (I’ve been to a steakhouse around the El Cerdo area and I find that one pricey and a little dry.) I believe there’s an option as well at Emily’s if you’re opting for a premium steak.
I love the chips too. We also ordered the Signature Steak Pot which was surprisingly delicious and the Seafood Paella. The Paella was okay but I don’t think I will order again as I am very particular with the taste of authentic Spanish Paella.
Overall, it was really a great first dining experience at Emily’s for me and my husband. We super love the regular ribeye steak here and the signature steak pot (plus the chips!). We will definitely come back here especially when craving for a western style steak (bec we are also into Japanese steaks) and we’ll be ordering the same thing again except for the Paella.
Emily’s have great staff as well. They were very warm, accommodating, and helpful. Kudos...
