unbiased thoughts: impressive, yes, do come, extremely recommended

u get 酒楼 standard food at an air cond 烧腊店 price. competition in the yulek area hasn't been higher, yet this still stands out as unique in its own right. the family business produces very fine quality 烧腊, service is good, place is comfortable, the experience feels pleasant and happy

chicken: we were treated to a whole roast chicken out of the generosity of the owner. disregarding the kind gesture, we still think that the roast quality rivals higher end roasters in big restaurants. the bird is fresh, has a nice tinge to flavor, temperature is hot.

duck: meaty, flavorful, non greasy, perfect for people who like their duck with less fat, as it makes a big difference

叉烧: faint taste of 药材 sets the taste apart from nearby competitors who serve respectable quality 叉烧 alike. it feels more like a cooked dish than chopped 烧腊 in my opinion. flavor is balanced, non greasy at all too

rice: on par with nearby competitors, just with condiments, we can finish the rice without meat. this is how good it is. it also comes in big portion.

chili sauce, 姜蓉, these r pleasant

kopi: fruity in general. with milk it is smooth, without milk it is gentle. our chinese taste buds here r more accustomed to the darker hainan roast, which makes some of us hardboiled kopi connoisseurs raise a slight eyebrow. but all the time I do stop over to takeaway kopi from time to time

I was quite disappointed with how the situation was handled during my visit. As a business in the F&B industry, smoking should not be allowed in both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned dining areas. If someone wants to smoke, they should move to a designated smoking area further away.

Unfortunately, a person was smoking openly in front of me, and the secondhand smoke, along with flying ash, made the dining experience very uncomfortable. It didn’t feel respectful to the people around.

What made it worse was that the staff or management did not take any action even though it was clearly happening in the dining area.

Sadly, because of this experience, I won’t be returning.

I had a very unpleasant experience here during breakfast . A customer was deliberately smoking in the area, even though it's clearly a non-smoking zone. When I politely showed concern, he provoked me on purpose, saying, "If you're so afraid of smoke, go sit inside."

What's worse, the staff were aware of the situation but chose to remain silent. They did not enforce the no-smoking rule, nor did they try to resolve the conflict. This kind of attitude is extremely disappointing.

If a restaurant can't even ensure a basic smoke-free environment, it's not a place I would return to. Very...

Super hard to get a parking. We’re lucky to wait for 10min to get seated. The people behind waited more than 20min. Food, never taste one of them, because the boss lost my order list!! I checked with them after waiting for more than 30min. The environment was damn noise! Anyway the most frustrating part is their service! The rude old lady servant ‘threatened’ my kids to stop them playing rock, paper scissors game!! I don’t mind if you warned kids to lower down the volume if they really disturb others. But they just sit on their own place, no standing up no shouting, some more the surrounding was that noise just like a lively market?!?! what was the reason to stop kids playing tiny games while waiting your damn long time order been served!! For those who wanna try on this restaurant, better don’t go if you really hungry, if you have high expectations..
