This restaurant serves as an inviting spot for a brief escape, offering a balanced setting that combines comfort and coziness. The dining area’s layout is well-organized, and the tables by the window, in particular, offer a serene view outside, adding to the calm of an evening visit. The space isn’t too large or small, but perfectly sized to provide an intimate feel without crowding guests. During quieter hours, it’s an ideal setting for a peaceful meal.
The food here presents a mixed bag in terms of taste, with some dishes standing out, while others fall into the range of average or even forgettable. While the flavor profile is generally mild—staying in a safe zone between salty and unsalted—it may lack the boldness some diners look for. However, if you’re in the mood for something comforting and familiar, it may hit the right spot.
One notable area for improvement would be the dessert selection, which, despite a variety of options, tends to taste quite similar across the board. A bit more variety in flavors here could add a refreshing end to the meal.
Overall, the restaurant's charm lies in its ambiance and comfortable setting, making it an excellent choice for a relaxed evening out, even if the culinary experience might benefit from a bit...
Read moreHear me out… I went to this buffet for dinner just because I was too lazy to think where else to eat. Honestly, what a regret. The menu was so-so, nothing special at all — and for RM55+++ kampung-style buffet? Totally not worth it. I can easily find better food elsewhere.
The only saving grace here was their cakes — red velvet, blueberry cake, cheesecake & a few others, memang sedap. But apart from that, the main dishes were lame, cheap-looking, and disappointing. Example: the kailan was literally the grossest I’ve ever tasted. Their bread? Zero effort. Dimsum? Just “meh”. And to make it weirder, suddenly there’s spaghetti carbonara in the middle of “kampung style” buffet?? Felt like the menu had no direction at all.
Staff service also failed to impress. Some looked blur, couldn’t even provide something as basic as eating gloves when I asked. At the payment counter, staff weren’t friendly either — very unwelcoming vibe for what’s supposed to be a 4-star hotel. (And please, if you’re claiming 4-star, at least use fresh flowers, not cheap decor.)
Overall, I’d only give ⭐️⭐️ (2 stars) — purely for the cakes. Everything else? Needs a serious brainstorming session to revamp the menu and service. Definitely won’t come again, even...
Read moreAt RM79/pax for weekend dinner buffet, this is probably the best value for money buffet in KL City Center.
Spread is very good - at least 40 different items. Good options for vegetarians too.
Grilled lamb, sambal ulam (pedas!), kari ayam and Caesar’s salad are very good. Mee rebus and rojak buah good too.
For deserts, skip the cakes and kuih, and go for the pulut + santan durian - a little sweet but very good. There’s ABC and ice cream flavors too (but just ok).
For refreshment, there Air Detox and some fruit juices (though diluted). Coffee from the machine is good. It makes a good espresso, macchiato and cappuccino. U fortunately, there wasn’t any teh tarik when we were there.
Lots of nicely set up tables, chairs and the arrangement gives it a cosy feel. Good for get-togethers and family events (book in advance). There was a musician who played live music and sang but sadly most diners just ignored him. Wish him better days.
Overall, a satisfying dinner.
Downside is the multi-level parking which is very narrow and quite challenging for new and nervous drivers. Parking is free for guests. If you are able, better to find street parking or one of the open parking lots in the...
