A friend recommended here as her son loves their pasta. And I Love it too! Usually the pasta and pizza are a hit here. We decided to go different this time, with the waiter who recommended well on the fresh artichoke salad. It was refreshing and uniquely good tasting light drizzle olive oil and vege mixture sauce to go along with it. And the aubergine was cooked well with good tomato and cheese! For main course - Homemade cod fish ravioli is amazing. Most unexpectedly texture that is so familiar to crab yet it is shredded cod meat well seasoning with herbs and moist in the dumpling. It was a delight! Highly recommend this dish.

Second main course, the veal Milanese is good too. Meat was well tenderised, seasoned and coated with a butter fragrance breaded battered deep fried. It was crispy, barely any veal/meaty smell or taste. It was really well prepared meat. Some may not be familiar with this dish in Asia, but it is very good, and better than some that I ate in Milan. (Can be dry for some as there is no gravy, just a good dose of lemon juice and rockets is great) Desserts were good, a bit disappointed that the canolli custard cream filling is a bit wetter than expected, but the creme brulee is great! Highly recommend this restaurant for both date nights and great gathering all the same. And the services are friendly and well trained ! Love to go back again soon! P/s: love their Amarone wine that is served in an extra large...

Our family went to Sassorosso to celebrate my siblings’ milestone birthdays , 40, 50 and 60. My sister turned 40, and two brothers turned 50 and 60 this year! My husband and I flew all the way from Hawaii for this auspicious event. Keith, the manager helped us with the menu and cake. He was so helpful and answered all my questions and concerns via texts.

The day finally came and we had a reservation for a party of 11 people. When we arrived, we were blown away by the decor and room set up for our guests. Wow! It was beautifully decorated , with candle lights and flower petals. And then came the appetizers. They were all delicious! And finally, the dinner! Wow! Everyone loved their entree.

The event finished with a beautiful and delicious tiramisu cake. The cake was decadent! Everyone simply had a wonderful time. Thank you Sassorosso, you all did an outstanding job! From the chef to the servers, everything went smoothly and beautifully.

The only thing that could topped the event would be the Chef coming to our table to wish my siblings a "Happy Birthday" or just to introduce himself. That would have been very special and personal.

Bravo! Highly recommended. We wish you and your staff many, many more years of...

Would I Recommend: NO Would I Return for the 2nd time: NO

Deeply disappointed with the food. For the price charged, we definitely expected better food quality.

We ordered mushroom soup, duck ravioli & lasagna.

The mushroom soup cost RM36 and it is oily and overpowered by rosemary. Nothing like a decent mushroom soup at all. Have definitely tasted something better.

The duck ravioli cost RM88. What we received at our end is a confused fusion dish. It's like a fusion between Roasted Duck you typically get from chinese restaurant with ravioli. Anyway the dish is bland and is definitely not worth the money at all.

The lasagna cost RM76. A decent lasagna but definitely not one that cost this much.

Also, the waiter tried hard to persuade us to order starters and repetitively mentioned that the entrees would take a while to arrive despite us saying no to him few times.

Felt the waiter should have behaved professionally and just leave after we politely declined him. Not the kind of service we did expect to receive at a...

Phenomenal Italian restaurant. We went here for New Year’s Eve and were blown away from start to finish. We made a last-minute booking and compared to other restaurants they easily fit us in. Once we arrived we were treated to a very prompt cocktail service, and some complimentary assorted breads with olive oil and balsamic, which paired beautifully with our perfectly seasoned side of broccoli and mushrooms. For mains we had the penne with chicken breast and pan-fried sea bass. Both dishes were presented to a high standard, and seasoned to perfection. Seriously some of the best fish I’ve ever eaten. To finish we shared a tiramisu which had a beautiful layer of cream to complement the rich flavour notes of rum. The highlight of the experience though was our host Keith who was very charismatic and attentive. We struggled to get a ride back to our hotel due to the public holiday and he even arranged a ride for us. Amazing service.
