Mount Shisha Bar & Lounge — Local services in Kuala Lumpur

I enjoy travelling and visiting shisha lounges from the countries I visit.

For my trip to KL, I tried different several different shisha lounges and I have to admit this shisha lounge ticks all the boxes of what a premium shisha lounge should be.

Firstly, there's a lot of attention to detail placed on the setup of this place. The decor is modern and premium and feels cozy at the same time. The seats were unbelievably comfortable for a shisha lounge and importantly the distance between each table was well calculated to ensure you're not inhaling someone else's shisha smoke. To top it off the ventilation of this place is unbelievable, it wasn't even smoky when the place was 3/4 full. All I could smell was my own shisha smoke which was pleasant. Even after leaving the lounge, my clothes barely smelled of shisha smoke which is always a plus.

Secondly, what's missing from many premium shisha place is quality food. This place serves a proper menu with restaurant quality AND instagrammable food. So you and your hungry partner can fill your tummy and also take instagram photos of the food. The cocktails and mocktails I had were also excellent and well presented.

Finally the shisha itself, for the both times I visited, I opted for the Director Mix - One of the bosses of this place makes the shisha for you. He came by my table to ask for my preferences. I generally prefer my shisha very strong and preferably russian cigar leafs so I asked for a strong one with a cigar leaf base if possible. Both times he made the shisha really strong and the flavour mix was amazing. The shisha bong used was premium quality Steamulation bongs and the quality of the smoke was smooth, thick and long lasting. I had my shisha for around 1.5-2hrs and the flavour and smoke was still good. So if you like strong premium dark leaf / cigar leaf shisha this is definitely the place to go in KL. The charcoal changes are professional level, attentive and frequent. They literally vacuum the ash out of your shisha bowl and tray before placing new coals. Amazing!

As this place is in a good spot in KL city centre and meant to be premium shisha lounge, the prices are as expected to be on the higher end but honestly you get what you pay for if you are shisha lover like me. I came by twice and both times the service and quality were consistent. Also the staff here are very welcoming, attentive and friendly so it's not intimidating visiting the place on your own if you intend to shisha alone despite it being a premium place.

This place is what premium shisha lounge should be. Highly recommended for true shisha lovers!

Because. The shisha is top notch. No annoying aluminum foil or any other pre modern type of shisha which destroys taste and durability of the shisha.

Mount shisha uses high quality devices and modern phunnel bowls. Also hmd/smokebox is used. In my case it was the kaloud lotus which is one of the best world wide hmd.

High quality tobacco, frequent coal changes including vacuuming the ash rounds up the shisha experience.

Love it!

Also the mocktail I had was craaaazy unbeaten good and the food brought me to another level of comfort.
