So, this is an amazing place/experience. Open air, outdoor eating venue focused on Middle Eastern cuisine. Allegedly open until 5am and I can only imagine how fascinating it is to be here when the bars close! Cash, credit card and probably e-wallet payments accepted.
This is a restaurant with hookah service as well. A great selection of Middle Eastern favorites as well as a selection of specifically Yemeni dishes. Service is pretty fast overall and they have a TON of staff to help seat, take orders and deliver food. There are fans outside to keep the air moving which is helpful, but it's still probably far nicer to be here after dark than during sunlight hours.
I opted for their kebab lamb sandwich. It came with a side order of crinkle cut french fries that looked just like the Ore-Ida frozen fries you could buy in supermarkets and bake in the oven. About as tasty as well, which is to say not so much so. The sandwich was a thin pita wrap (practically a tortilla) around a sizzling center of grilled, thinly sliced lamb meat. The lamb was amazingly flavorful and hot. The picture in the menu showed a much more gyro-like mixture of meat and other fresh ingredients, but this had very little else beyond the meat. A very thin layer of lettuce and that's about it. Would definitely have benefitted from more tomato, onion and lettuce along with some more sauce. But the lamb and the wrap were great.
I also had the chili hummus appetizer. This is definitely best shared with two or more people. A very impressive serving of hummus accompanied by a massive flatbread. The hummus was very good on its own and was drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with chili powder and annato (a seasoning with a sour, citrusy flavor). The spice level was detectable but shouldn't be a problem for most people (especially if you're even considering ordering something called chili hummus!). Delicious but overwhelming for one person along with an entree.
I topped this off with a refreshing juice combination of lemon grass and passion fruit. Very sweet but also very citrusy from the lemon grass. Unfortunately the passionfruit at the bottom was where a lot of syrup or simple syrup gravitated (despite attempts to stir) so the last bit was undrinkable.
Staff is very courteous. They even have a robot that brings the dishes out to the table where the server then...

I went for sahur with my husband. We ordered Grilled Prawn and caramel pudding. The waiter informed us that we would have to wait 20 minutes for the grilled prawn. So we were okay since we still had time. In the menu picture we saw that there would be 5-6 pieces of prawns & fries mixed with spices. But when the food arrived we saw that the fries were in 7 pieces. IM TALKING ABOUT FRIES NOT THE PRAWN.
Because of confusion & curiosity , I called a waiter in charge and asked why the fries were so few. Can u pls add more fries? (In a very polite way and if even he politely tell me need to pay extra abit for it i wouldn’t mind). The waiter's answer was very disappointing "RM45 is only prawns. The fries are just decoration in the picture". I was shocked by his answer. How can you answer a customer like that. Are you trying to say if seller put picture in the menu of 1 whole chicken but serve only 2 pieces IT WILL BE OKAY TO DO THAT???
Long story short he agreed to give more Fries. But the issue not just that. Adter he send us the ‘extra fries’ he even tell us that “U see in the menu do not show any sauces but we served your plate with sauces which we supposed to charge u extra RM3 for it”.- The sauces that he talk about is just CHILI SAUCE N MAYONESE!! Me n my husband was stunt with his statements and still politely my husband answer “u can take back the sauce”.
I assume he’s the supervisor because he’s wearing white shirt difference from others staff. But how u can said those things to your cust and make your cust feel like we’re stupid. I Malaysia we have ministry named KPDN, which control about menu and price been shown. U probably should send your stFf learn about Customer Services and consumer rights. It was very nice place but very...
Read moreCame here for ramadan buffet, called to book seat on a RM59 per pax impression. Once arrived, reconfirmed with the waiter who hold the booking book at the entrance gate on the price - he said it was RM59 per pax as well. Turns out, it was RM79 per pax and big boss with the bald head says his staff didn't understand english so it was not his problem, and he says it's already written out there so i guess it's my bad innit?
Anyways, didn't bother to argue further. Talk is cheap.
Restaurant environment is subjective, some may find it nice but to me it was just alright. A bit scattered and congested but there's option to sit upstairs. Overall, the place is just a bit run down and the floor can be slimy and slippery. The live music can be too loud and irritating. Every section of restaurant don't match with each other, it's a chaotic mix up.
Now when it comes to food, every dish is just good but not over the top delicious to be honest. Nothing is spicy here, food is just average nothing special.
Service is good, waiters running around actively and there's an army of 20 i think. Can look like a bit crowded but it's good that you can call up one to your table easily.
Despite my overall experience, what really killed it is how freely some friendly customers to the restaurant can light up a ciggarette and smoke amidst the restaurant. Not sure if the big bald boss smokes as well at the entrance but he was chilling freely there too with some of his friends. Shisha is offered here yes, understandably no issue with shisha smoke. But i guess everybody who work here take this restaurant as their "house" and they get to do whatever they like. While you as a paying visitor, you either "take it or leave it" it seems.
I don't think i'll be eating here or any arabic food...
