This coffee shop is at least close to if not a little past 50 years old and having eaten here as a young kid, the chicken rice and yong tau foo are the staple. CKT is quite popular. The wantan and fish ball noodle are not bad.

They used to host a few stalls with very good asam laksa and curry laksa and HK prawn covered with chee cheong fan way back in the 70s-early 80s. Auntie Christina's Sarawak laksa and kacangma chicken was found here for close to 20 over years before she moved.

Now there's kolo mee to look forward to in addition to the rest. There also an in house pastry stall here.

Outside the restaurant at the corner facing AA pharmacy runs a couple of stalls selling kuih and at times an occasional rojak buah mobile stall. Recently a mobile dim sum and tong sui (sweet watery desserts) stall is seen parked opposite.

Parking can be a hassle but it is expected in these parts.

[Update Mar 2023] run by new management: rounded marbles dining table and round chairs and better lighting have rejuvenated their look and feel. The drinks at least the milk tea is much improved. Glad that a Klang BKT stall just opened, bringing back this dish that had been a mainstay for...

It has been a long time since my last visit to this shop. Spacious and clean...those 2 in 1 corner shop. I used to eat Sarawak Laksa here all the time...since more than 20yrs ago. Unfortunately the stall was closed...twice that I came. Decided to try the beef noodle instead. A bit pricey for that portion (RM14.50) but it was yummy. The dried beef noodle was served with beef slices, some peanuts and salted veg.The beef was very tender. Soup was a bit salty for me. You can order beef balls and parts without noodles too...RM23! Love the coffee too. Must try the char koay teow next. Looks like a popular stall. My friend waited 20 minutes for it. There is an option of adding duck eggs too, for those who like it but I don't really like the smell. Street parking here is bad during peak hours but you will be able to park a bit further...in front of TMC...

This corner-kopitiam has all the food selections from morning till night. Morning all the breakfast selections are there and itโ€™s rather busy restaurant. Whereas for evening onwards, the main store is the all types of fried, noodle or rice. Even the cook is by Burmans (people from Myanmar) nowadays. All of them speak amazingly good Mandarin and Cantonese. Try out any of the food here, itโ€™s also amazingly delicious and tasty.

โ€”โ€”- 16 May, 2025. Morning breakfast with Chee Chong Fan I think this ladyโ€™s curry gravy is among the best in town. There is a strong aroma in her curry gravy that makes one want to come back again and again even if you have moved out of the lucky garden. This place has a peaceful atmosphere and a little bit upper class though prices are very friendly...
