Apparently this is my cousin’s favourite place for breakfast and I must thank her for sharing a gem with me. Packed inside this 2 unit kopitiam is a whopping number of stalls, with different sized tables and chairs to cater to larger groups or solo diners seated inside as well as seating along the five foot way in front of the kopitiam.

Spoilt for choice, delicious smells waft from every stall, and everyone is very friendly and patient. Many customers seem to be regulars too as the overheard conversations reflected what happened recently in their lives, their opening hours changing in the coming holidays etc. What a warm and lovely community!

Over the course of my stay I tried the wan ton mee (soya sauce style & very good wan tons with QQ noodles), the pan mee (finally tasted what many have raved about & yes it’s like an Asian fettuccine with a beautiful & tasty sauce), the Penang prawn noodles (no red cut chili but their chili paste is satisfying). The drinks here (teh-c-kosong-ice is so creamy & the home made barley water is not sweet and thirst quenching) are well made. Next time I’ll try the fish stall. Oh yah the Kueh Kueh here are soft and yummy, not too sweet &...

  1. dry hor fun I ordered dry Hor fun at the corner, it was nice, the noodle was very fragrant and saltiness was just nice, it cost only rm10 and had 2 medium size prawn and some chicken breast. The only downside was the soup was too salty and taste like chicken essence. The prawn wasn’t sweet but the texture was good unlike frozen prawn some stalls serve.

  2. Loh mee Tried it the first time I went there, quite a long time ago so I don’t remember in details but I was quite tasty too

  3. duck leg noodles Not recommended. The soup was just salty, without any other layers of flavour.

  4. fish head mee hoon I ordered the prawn mee hoon, I didn’t like it and it was quite expensive

Somewhat hard to find parking Environment was quite hot and stuffy but...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The herbal pork ribs noodle from this hawker stall is truly one of a kind! The broth is soothing, and the pork ribs portion is very generous. I've been coming here just for this, for the past twenty years, and it never disappoints. The nice lady who runs the stall also offers delicious tender duck leg option, if pork rib is not your thing. Highly recommend!

This hawker restaurant is clean and very airy with numerous powerful fans and extractor fans. So much delicious food options. Be prepared to share tables, during peak lunch hour, as it is very popular. 'Legal' parking is difficult. Sometimes I park at Bangsar Village, cross the road and take a quick 5 mins walk here instead of hopelessly circling around for curbside parking....
