Kim Gary Restaurant @ Hartamas Shopping Centre — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Brief lunch stop in between meetings. Used to frequent Kim Gary but with the mushrooming of so many alternatives, don't eat here as often. Felt that their extensive menu is a bit too much cos it's quantity over quality.

Felt like having rice thus ordered this pork chop and scallion oil rice. Comes with a fried egg, some veg (french beans, carrots) and of course, a large dollop of scallion oil.

The pork chop was alright, lightly seared and quite tender. It's lightly seasoned and doesn't have any overpowering marinade taste.

Need to give a thumbs up 👍 to the scallion oil though as it was super fragrant and addictive. Had to control myself from finishing it. It wasn't too oily and tasted quite freshly done. Pairs well with the pork chop as well as the vegetables. Also wonderful when stirred into the rice.

Drink was mango aloe vera and I should have known better when ordering this. Can't finish the drink cos it's too sweet. This is then a not nice at all for me, but perhaps would appeal to those who likes...

This branch of Kim Gary has been here for years. Still standing strong whilst shops around it have changed hands a few times. This branch is nice. Not too busy and the seating is all indoors. 10% if you have an AEON card.

We tried the vegetarian option this time around. Being Friday and all. Let me just say it was awesome and I loved the taste very much and will be returning to sample more of their vegetarian menu.

They have fried yam. This is nice Although this time around from this branch it was a tad oily. We usually eat at Kim Gary Midvalley and theirs are less oily. But taste-wise still as yummy. The vegetarian friend spring roll was also incredibly tasty. Crunchy and favourful.

A place i would drop by for some Mobile Legends showdown. Food is above average and drinks are good, Atmosphere alittle boring since I only see them changing the design of menu all the time but the shop itself looks dull.

Food - 4 Stars Mainly because the food are the same, menu been changing a heap of times. Nothing new. Service - 5 Stars You can see the manager and staffs can run around doing multi works, the kitchen has more staffs than the floor staffs thats amazing. Atmosphere - 3 Stars It looks the same since they opened the shop, wish they do some designs according to special days such as Chinese New Year. Atleast hang some angpao for goodness sake, you can get it free from many...
