Visited after so long on 1/8/22 at brunch hour 10.30am. Quite empty , not many customer yet. Food quality is deteriorating. Orders the local delight - mi sedaap with salted egg sotong - mi sedaap is too salty, the Sambal given is too sweet, Salted egg sotong is not tasty. It doesn’t fried till golden skin color but rather bland color & with little salted egg sauce. Order apam balik bun also, filing given is generous but taste unlike old time. After 1 year, food quality can’t maintain anymore. This is really disappointed. Order kopi hot one and requested less sweetness, personally I think order ice will be better comparing to hot 1. This round really disappoint me.

Visited on 29/4/21 during lunch hours. Luckily no long Q probably due to puasa month. This is a typical local delight cuisine like nasi lemak, chicken chop, mee siam, Mi Sedaap & toast. Tried they funky nasi lemak in which they cracked a raw egg into the pot then u cook & mix the egg with curry gravy & the Nasi. Come with curry chicken & fried chicken, curry chicken is delicious. Same goes to the local delight in which I picked the Mi Sedaap + curry chicken. Curry chicken is good, Sambal is great too. Ordered Kopi C & requested kosong, without sugar & it is tasty. For the Cham Ping order Putting with the remarks of less sweet but turn up still very sweet for my preference. Ordered apam balik bun as well & I like the texture of the bun in which it is light toasted & the filing given is just right. Filing are peanut crunch, butter, kaya & jagung. In term of variety of the food is kinda limited with only local delight. But still,...

Another recommendation from my brother-in-law brought us to Luck Bros Kopi at Petaling Street. The place has a unique setup, the front entrance is styled like a modern twist on an old kopitiam, blending retro décor with a trendy café vibe.

When we first walked in, we asked to be seated outside. The cashier directed us to go around the block to the back, which felt a bit odd since later we realized you can also walk straight through the restaurant to the same outdoor seating area (and even to the same cashier when paying the bill!). At the back, there was a long row of tables and chairs, completely packed with diners. We waited for a bit before a table opened up.

Ordering was easy with the QR code menu, and one thing that stood out was their signature “tower drink”, a tall, beer-tower-style dispenser filled with iced coffee or tea, perfect for sharing and quite eye-catching. Of course, we didn’t order the tower since there were only the two of us, but it’s definitely something fun for larger groups. We ordered two dishes along with drinks, and everything came quickly with nice presentation. The flavors were good and the service was efficient.

What really made the experience even better was the view from the back seating area. Not only do you overlook the vibrant Petaling Street with its colorful shop houses and bustling market vibe, but you also get a clear view of the Merdeka 118 Tower standing tall in the skyline, a striking modern contrast to the heritage surroundings.
