Went for a Friday night out with friends as we got a nice experience from our previous visiting, then it turned out to be an unpleasant night, food and beverage are still good, but then our great night suddenly ruined by a waiter, who spilled the water to the lady next to our table accidentally, and we got nothing to do with this, then he turned to us and blame it on my friend's movement to cause the incident, and even demand my friend to apologize to the lady next to us, WOW! That is really professional for someone who works in hospitality to handle incidents during work.
We were shocked and disgusted by his tone, then we have complained to another staff about this situation, the rest of them are very helpful and apologetic, which is not really their fault, and that waiter should be really ashamed for making all his teammates to recover the damage what he has caused by his great customer service skill.
Later, a friendly waitress came to our table and told us that the owner will love to offer us some complimentary food and beverage as compensation, unfortunately we have already lost our appetite, also the initiator of this disaster does not seem to even bother to explain or apologize for what he has done. Even they took 50 MYR off, but that cannot really fix this dreadful experience.
Overall, the food and beverage are nice ( they make delicious tapas ), and the atmosphere is delightful, most of the waiting staff are friendly and helpful, but once there is one rotten apple then it will spoil the barrel, the management needs to pay more attention to this...

That’s what my friend told me after we finished eating. We were there to celebrate his birthday. For his birthday this year, I organised the worst meal he’d ever had. We ordered a lot of food, so I think I can just break down this review by each food item we ordered.
Truffle fries - it was fine. The only edible thing on the table. The aioli just tasted like mayonnaise from a jar.
Lamb stew - the color was strange. It was grey and pink at the same time. I don’t think it was cooked down enough. Doesn’t seem like the lab was seared before being cooked into a stew. Flavour was fine, but the texture was off.
Seared salmon - the salmon was dry. So dry, it was hard to eat. My friend couldn’t finish even half of the salmon. The dish was supposed to combine 2 components: seared salmon with tom yam, but it was just those 2 things on a plate, and they really have nothing to do with each other. Awful.
Ribeye salad - it was fine. Ribeye was overcooked.
Salted fish warm salad - The vegetables were under seasoned. The taste of salted fish was not detected. It was just a plate of flaccid, underseasoned vegetables. Blah.
Singapore chilli crab pasta - flavour was ok, though very salty. Not sure how the sauce is supposed to be reminiscent of Singapore chilli crab. There was crab, there was chilli, but that’s about it. Meh.
Balinese chicken skewers - dry. Dry. Sooo dry. The sauce was bad.
Deconstructed tiramisu - it was fine. Not terrible, just fine.
Malbec - absolute piss.
I wish I could...
Read moreStumbled upon this place on a New Year’s Eve late afternoon after booking a dinner at Quan’s(Four Points Chinatown). We were staying the night for NYE. Saw 2 men smoking and drinking at the terrace and we decided to ask the maitre D( as a formality) whether we could occupy the other vacant table at the terrace to smoke and drink. She said yes. It was then my husband spotted more tables on the other side of the terrace but it was hidden by tall potted plants and asked her again whether that section was for smoking as well. We were delighted when she said ‘Yes’. So we shifted to that section. Ordered the 4 beers on tap offer and food as we were starving. So my husband ordered the Irish Stew & Chicken Skin. I saw the Corn Ribs and I was curious about it. I asked the waiter and he assured me that it was good. Food arrived at a timely manner. Drinks of course were served first. Chicken skin was good, stew was alright( would love the meat to be slightly chunkier) but the corn ribs…dayumn…my husband and I were fighting for it. All in all we had a ln amazing lunch after ordering churros for dessert. Just the right crunch and soft in the center. My husband was so happy that he wanted to reserve a table for dinner and cancel our reservations at Quan’s. We came back for dinner. Had the same drinks. This time we ordered the prawn umai, chilli eggplant and corn ribs…again! To finish off, we ordered the burnt cheesecake with a side of fruit compote. Delicious! Super impressed with food, service & we could smoke our cigars there!...
