With the catchy name, it happens that the staple food sold in the store is closely related to the takeaway and dough. "Takeaway package" is believed to be one of the everyday words that everyone is very familiar with for Malaysians. It has the meaning of take away and take out. The word "packed" will naturally appear in the mind when people see it. Therefore, in addition to the takeaway that we all know, it also represents one of the important steps in bag making process.
You'll find restaurant sign on the roadside of Petaling Street that looks more old and retro and labeled. Although there is a neon sign with a package restaurant sign next to the door, it looks trendy and yet simple and nostalgic. A classic old fashioned mantou, which was soft and fluffy was the packaging that yielded this magnificent beast. It was able to hold the weight of its contents and was able to soak up the sauce without much problems.
Up next was their Lamb Rice Bowl comprising of slow-cooked mutton rendang, pickled bunga kantan, Japanese sushi rice, charred broccoli, ajitama egg & edamame. Succulent chunks of mutton saturated in mellow spiced rendang for a creation that tastes traditionally Malaysian, albeit with a revitalised edge. Portion was fairly little for the price charged, however the old school Chinese Takeout packaging...
