Right next to the monorail station, this elevated little gem of a Buddhist temple is a pleasant surprise being somewhat in the shadow of the bigger and more famous Clan temple across the road (Chan She Shu Yuen Clan Ancestral Hall). The statues (esp. the bodhisattvas) are rather cute and fearsome at the same time. There's some lovely decorated wall titles and considering the busy road outside it's a haven of quiet and serenity.

Hidden kuan yin temple in KL... If you don't notice you won't see this temple (road side)... They are doing renovation outside the temple now... Good for prayer to come bcoz It's very quite and will let your all stress gone...

Beautiful temple with a lot of information and a very nice pocket edible garden. The lady gave me a few bitter lettuce plant because I wanted to grow it. Even share her knowledge with me about plants. A very nice community

Arrived just before 9.00am when they were opened and we were the first 2 devotees to pray there. Place is clean and any joss sticks offered are placed outside the temple so it is not smoky. The main altar consists of Lord Buddha in the middle with Kwan Yin on the right and the Yellow Zambala god of fortune on the left. The place is very crowded during the main festivals but still very accessible, parking is available across the road at the Chinese Assembly Hall and you can use the overhead bridge to cross over. There are also parking slots down by Petaling Street if you are early. Counter staff are very helpful in...

temple look beautiful ,, but i was very upset ,, i’m a very spiritual religouse person and i learn buddha and hindu from a lot of high priests all around the world ,, but while i was praying the cleaner lady looked at me very angry and was very rude to me and she made me cry in the temple while i was trying to pray ,, and my mum read a book and it said they don’t like westerners or rich people and people who are poor and sleep on the floor are more spiritual ,, i have never been to a temple that judges others and speak bad to others ,, temple should be a happy peacefull loving...

This temple is one of the oldest goddess of mercy (guanyin) temple in the whole Kuala Lumpur! It has gone through WWI & WWII era, this temple is kept simple. Every 1st & 15th lunar of the Chinese month they have prayer at morning around 10.30am onwards, anyone can join.

Currently they are expanding & renovating the temple it will be done by 2025. Still open for visit as the renovation work didn’t disturb the main hall.

The counter staff is always approachable & helpful, do ask for help if...
