The staff was quite friendly and smiled a lot. The ambience was really nice. The lighting there was great, the surroundings were clean and there was a live singing performance. A waiting number will be given after you've paid and it will be shown on a neon sign, just like the one in banks.
The visuals of the food looked really tempting. However, the prices were a bit to the expensive side.
I ordered the Bulgogi Chicken Deopbab and the chicken wasn't very flavourful. My sister's Hangul Chicken Deopbab won by a mile. I'm not sure why they put the name Hangul in front of it as Hangul is the name for the Korean writing system. The chicken looked dry but unexpectedly, it was quite cruncy and delicious.
The tteokbokki wasn't as good as it seems too. I liked the egg, the cheese but not the tteokbooki and its sauce. The tteokbokki was way too chewy and if they improve its texture, it'll be a whole lot better. The fishcake suited the sauce though.
The side dishes were a huge letdown: the kimchi didn't taste very flavourful and the anchovies were crunchy. The anchovies in most Korean restaurants are chewy instead of crunchy but I like crunchy anchovies anyway so I don't really mind the different texture.
Won't recommend this place for someone looking for authentic Korean dishes, but if you just want to try it, it's so-so.
I hope that the staff will focus more on the texture and flavourful taste of the food, as the visuals are already...
Read more7 Jan 2022, 8.55pm already. We ordered and paid at the counter at 8.24pm as of the receipt screenshot. Still nothing. My order number is 126, me and my wife waited for 30 mins and suddenly order number 136 came first. I smelled something fishy and went over the counter to ask. The new employee didn't send my receipt to the kitchen. They have the guts to tell me to wait for another 5 mins? I would've asked for a refund if it wasn't because of my wife being hungry. 8.58pm, our order arrived finally. At least they apologized while sending the order to us, I told the supervisor to train the new employee better so that this won't repeat next time. No token of apology whatsoever from them too for this mistake? Dear manager/supervisor/team leader, do train your employees to provide token of apology in the future. I'm sure you have this in your module, please please please stress this one on them else your customers won't be satisfied as I am right now. I'll make this viral on social media too, thank you for...
Read moreDol sot bibimbap - beef. Serving together with condiments as usual. Tasty, normal.
Kimchi and yangnyeom chicken- small portion, good for those who want small bites.
Kafe Latte - too milky for me.
There hardly any service from the waitress. We order at the counter, when number is call, we pick up from the counter. Eventhough there isn't many people dining at that hour.
Besides the ordering system, perhaps you could consider training staff to serve whenever needed, so to build human connection in this place.
The scanning code force you to download their app when you want to order, another option is to queue at the counter.
This is the way, they will collect your personal data and add you into their database. I wonder if they have any privacy policy in place.
Overall experience: good but lack of human connection. I'm not sure if we can...
