Secret Recipe Sunway Putra Mall — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Secret recipe (SR) particularly the one in Sunway Putra Mall is the worst SR I've ever visited. The staff there was busy for nothing!!! I've been there for three times and hoped the service would be different, but it became even worse. They didn't attend us when we entered the restaurant. They looked so busy and we seemed invisible to them. I tried not to ask for a menu and wanted to know how long they would finally realised or stop pretending not to see us. They were busy cleaning the tables that were just left by the other customers and the funny thing was there was one table cleaned right opposite our seat but that waiter still didn't want to see and ask our order. After about 20-15 minutes I finally asked one of them, and they just walked slowly to another place then went to the menu rack and came back with the menu (with no smile or apology). I tried to observe maybe they were so busy that they had to ignore the customers but I found that they had time to chit chat behind the cake counter, talked with other staff behind the beverage counter. I gave one star here only because of the food, while the service is disappointing! Fyi, the secret recipe restaurant in Setapak Mall has much better service and the staff are more friendly even...

Convenient and one of the good cafes here. Food and drinks are the standard Secret Recipe quality. Spacious and inviting. Wide space between tables. Excellent ambiance and decor.

It is inside Sunway Putra Mall at LG level. It is a perfect place to meet or hang out with friends. Nice and neat place to chill and enjoy your cake and drink your coffee.....And yes, there are many types cheese cakes for you to choose. I love them all....

Parking space is not a problem at all. The mall is huge and provide plenty of spots for visitors.

Service is not so good. I had once dine in there with family. Before the food been serve, they gave small plate of cutlery and tissue which is normal. But the problem is, when we still eating, they want to 'clear' the table by taking that small plate which we maybe want to use it later. The staff were so busy to clear table even not so many customer at that time. Today, I ordered the food by grab. Sadly one of the food, classic drummet (6 pcs) is over cook. I pay RM 20 for the chicken (not a cheap amount) but what we get is dark over cook fried chicken. The other food is ok. Please don't treat your customer like this. They paid for what they order,...
