The evening when I wanted to just have a mamak place to sit down and have some hot teh tarik, I walked around the BB area looking for one that was well-lit and crowded enough just so that it was ‘safe’ for a lone wolf traveler like me. I decided to go with this place. The waiter taking my orders was okay. My teh tarik came first. Halfway through sitting at my table, the waiter interrupted me and asked if I could switch to the table behind me because there was a bunch of family customers, including adults and kids, who needed a joint set of tables where I was seated. I was cool to accommodate his request. Then I had to wait quite a while for my roti canai, but since I was not in a hurry, I was chilled with the pace. As I watched customers paying at the cashier, a Mat Salleh burst in anger at the staff behind the counter, urging him to hurry up. After finishing my food and drink, I went to pay at the cashier. The staff seemed to be too busy talking to another staff member that he totally paid no attention to me waiting. I had to smash the number card on the counter to wake him up. So, from my experience, I must say the restaurant certainly has a lot to improve on in terms of their customer service. They’re lucky that I am a patient young lady who’s generous enough to give them 2 stars (1 star for the teh tarik and 1 star for the roti canai) when they actually deserve none. Will I go back there again? Maybe not, partly due to the loud “music” they play in...

Decent restaurant in Bukit Bintang. Open 24h, usually has a spot at most hours. Stayed nearby and ate here twice in 3 days. Roti Canai was the highlight for me, it was delicious with a couple different curries. Nasi Kandar was just ok, the seasoning and gravy were good, but the meat (beef curry and lamb biryani) was tough. I may have just ordered the wrong items, chicken biryani and lamb shank may be the move. Huge portion, I couldn't finish it. Teh tarik, mango lassi, coffee were all great. Price is great for the area.

Some of the staff were really nice. Others were awkward. Like they will not look at you as you speak to them or when you're paying, no politeness or anything. Could be the language barrier but I got a bad vibe and felt a bit unwelcome. I read the reviews about great service and came here expecting that, so was disappointed.

I would come back for the food though, knowing what to expect...

I went to this restaurant and sat down, waiting for a waiter to come and take my order. I waited for about 5 minutes, but no one came to serve me a menu or take my order. I then went to the counter and asked the staff if I needed to order at the counter. The person responded, "No, no, do you want to dine in or take away?" I said, "Dine in," and he asked me to sit down. After that, a waiter finally came to take my order.

However, after placing my order, I waited for about 20 minutes, and my food still hadn’t arrived. The service was terrible, and there seemed to be no proper system in place. It didn't seem like they followed a "first come, first serve" rule, as I saw another customer who arrived after me get served immediately.

This is not a good system. The restaurant needs to upgrade its service, as customer satisfaction is the most important thing. I was very disappointed with the...

Food was good. However the price was expensive than I thought. More surprising considering that it’s Malaysia and the price is THIS. For your reference, 1 chicken leg with thigh, 1 egg, okra, green veggie, 1 scoop of lamb was 30RM(it was 30-ish. Forgot the exact price but it was 33 i guess) One squid, 1 chicken leg with thigh, 1 scoop of bean sprout was 27RM(forgot the exact price either but price was around this). You’ll purchase it after you finish your meal. They seem to be nice but somehow felt uncomfortable. Tbh i think i was ripped off because im a foreigner&tourist cuz compared to other local restaurants, it is reaaally expensive. I have a strange feeling honestly. Also, maybe because they were laughing/smirking at me…they had this strange face expression that I can’t express on the text. U just feel it. and it was very uncomfortable.

This one’s more about the experience than the food itself 😁 The food wasn’t bad at all — in fact, it reminded me a lot of Nasi Padang, which is hugely popular back home in Indonesia. What really amazed me was the size of the fried chicken — it was enormous 😲! On top of that, they piled the plate high with everything: fried chicken, fish curry, fried fish eggs, big squid, vegetables, and then poured several curry broths all over. It honestly felt like the plate was overflowing with food 😜 Taste-wise, it was good overall. My only concern was the fried items — I couldn’t help but wonder, are they fresh, or have they been re-fried a few times? 🤔 Price-wise, definitely not cheap 🥺 But still, for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, I’d say it’s worth trying.
