Went to kunafa crisp in the evening and they had a huge crowd so we asked one of the staff what time they close and we were told 2am so we decided to go home and drop by after dinner. When we came back at night the queue was so long and they had gotten people to queue inside this area that had no ventilation. After standing in queue for an hour and dripping sweat, the foreign man who was staff there came and approached only a group of people to tell them that they have only 12 kunafa left. Mind you it wasn’t announced. My mum, my cousin and myself heard some woman say she was very disappointed so we proceeded to walk upto the guy to ask what was happening. I had to repeat myself 4 times while he ignored me and was talking to the guy next to me. So I tapped his shoulder and said excuse me and he told me not to touch him lol. Then the owner came and asked what was happening and we asked him if we could order now and pick up tomo and that we’ll pay in advance but he said he ‘didn’t feel right to hold our money’???? All he had to do was issue a receipt. Then he asked for a missed call to send the menu and said he’ll personally meet halfway to drop it off. He never sent anything. Zero customer service. The staff are rude, unprofessional and unprepared. Knowing it was a public holiday they should’ve known what was coming. Please stop using that you’re new and didn’t anticipate the crowd as an excuse when I’m sure you’ve been busy since you’ve opened and you had enough time to prepare knowing there was a crowd in the evening already. Next time instead of getting your customers to queue and waste their time and energy make sure it is announced loud and clear that you only have a few kunafa left and that sweets are still available etc. The service threw me off and I will never recommend or go back to this joint again regardless of how good people say...
Read moreVery slow service, movement of workers inefficient. For example when the guy is about to put the 8 crisp kunafa into the box once its done only then does he create the box.. he could hv done it while it was cooking. And when putting the 8 crisp kunafa into box, someone should help him out immediately to put the new ones to cook. But no one does it. The bottle neck is the crisp kunafa, that should be sped up. The guy giving the kunafa to customers is also very slow in his movement and often miss stuff. He could have prepared the other types of kunafa etc for customers first while waiting fir the crisp one but he doesnt. He only does it when the crisp one has finish cooking. The head of the worker wearing a shirt is also not helpful and keeps discussing about the orders with the worker. Seems like the order paper is like a puzzle. 1 hard worker could be faster than all 3 of them.Maybe owner could give them sales bonus of profit as motivation for them to work hard? And also i came at 12 but the kunafa only arrives at 2. I waited almost an hour in line but it could have been half the time if the worker worked like a...
Read moreAs a kunafa lover since 2011 and so far have tried out various places serving kunafa around KL, Shah Alam, Serdang, including in Jordan, Istanbul, Gaziantep, this is the best to be in my mouth if I’d miss and want to taste a kunafa in KL. The texture, the taste, the cheese, i just love it. There are other places with good taste too but If anyone would ask me where would they taste a good kunafa, I’d recommend here.
If you compare to authentic kunafas in Istanbul or Palestine of course it doesnt taste exactly the same. But compared to other viral places in KL, I think this place is worth to eat and try if you really missed kunafa.
Without a doubt, all that comes with it’s price. You’re not going to eat this everyday or every month, so I won’t complaint much abt the price.
Ice creams are nice too, and worth trying. So yes if anyone asks me where to go, try this place. Pictures shown are Nablusi Cheese Kunafa. Have tried the Crisp Cheese a few times and I think I love the...
