Robson Heights Seafood Restaurant, located in the lively district of Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, is a beloved spot for seafood enthusiasts. Known for its fresh offerings and laid-back atmosphere, the restaurant is a popular choice for family gatherings, group dinners, and casual dining. Its reputation for serving a wide range of delectable seafood dishes has made it a local favorite, drawing both regular patrons and first-time visitors alike.

One of the main draws of Robson Heights is the freshness of its seafood. The menu features a variety of options, from live crabs, prawns, and lobsters to an assortment of fish, clams, and other shellfish. Signature dishes include the famous black pepper crab, garlic butter prawns, and the flavorful steamed fish – all of which showcase the restaurant’s skillful use of spices and cooking techniques that highlight the natural taste of the seafood.

The restaurant’s simple yet comfortable setting adds to the relaxed vibe, making it a great place for a leisurely meal. The staff are friendly and attentive, providing recommendations and ensuring a smooth dining experience. The spaciousness of the restaurant also accommodates large groups, making it ideal for celebrations or gatherings.

While the prices may be on the higher side, the quality and portion sizes justify the cost, especially for those seeking fresh, high-quality seafood. The restaurant also offers a range of sides and stir-fried dishes to complement the seafood, adding variety to the meal.

One minor downside is that the restaurant can get quite busy during peak hours, especially on weekends, which may lead to longer waiting times for a table. It’s advisable to make a reservation if you're planning to visit during these times.

In summary, Robson Heights Seafood Restaurant stands out for its commitment to freshness, flavorful dishes, and welcoming atmosphere. It’s a great choice for seafood lovers looking for a satisfying meal in a casual,...

We used to eat at this restaurant when we were living in KL a few years back. We were happy to return and still be able to enjoy a meal there recently. However, business isn’t as good as it used to be and we were the only table of people eating our lunch around 12 noon to 1 pm.

Many food items in the menu weren’t available (whether temporarily or permanently, I don’t know), so we were slightly disappointed. We ordered the prawn claypot vermicelli but the prawns were very over-cooked hence the meat was very tough. The 2 large prawns were cut and served as 4 halves and the bill for this dish was MYR140 which came as a shocker because it was supposed to be MYR14 per 100 gram (meaning the 2 prawns weighed 1 kg!!!). The rest of the dishes were okay though not the best we had eaten at this restaurant.

I hope business will pick up again at this restaurant as it will be a great pity if they closed down in the...

Robson = Rob your son money🙈 just joking 😄 but overall the price here is higher than average while the food tastes average. Due to the location near to tourist attraction it’s excusable. However, food waiting time is very long, when there is no customer as we came when it opens at 11am, 11.40 only dish was served my goodness. Ordered crab which is counted by piece rather than kilos. Crab is fresh but butter sauce needs improvement. Pork rib which was reviewed as good by other local guides in which I found it tasteless compared to ipoh Chinese restaurants. Somemore so expensive. Salted egg Sotong and paku vege thumbs down. Overall 5 dishes only the Lala is good & fresh. Hygiene wise is so so, ventilation inside is bad can feel oily & greasy air. Parking wise is opposite, hence need to make a uturn which is inconvenient too. Overall price which is not on par with the food quality I give a...

Brought here once by a friend. Was passing through and thought why not just eat here. Ordered their delectable Butter Crab and Claypot Freshwater Prawns with Glass Noodles. The butter sauce goes very well with the fried mantou. The taste is sweet and aromatic, best in class. The creamy, golden broth, so hearty that it goes very well with glass vermicelli noodles, let the noodles sit in the soup after it is served and soak up all the richness of the broth, then eat it, and the very fresh freshwater prawns, needless to say, the meat is in the tail but the essence of life is in the heads. Heavenly. Will return for a third.
