Very rare cases that a Cafe is awarded with 5 Stars. This is a spacious, clean and happening cafe, where U see waiter going table to table scorching their signature Pork Chops and dishes with the Flame symbol. There is 2 types of Flame Porks; the 3 layer pork (with a combination of fat & meat layers) & the premium cut (the rib bottom part). It is so well cooked that is just nice (not raw & not hardened from overcooked), which is a skill other cafes fail at (others will usually have their pork chop solid tough, dry & hard). This is juicy, eat it as soon as it flame cooked where U can also witness the BBQ sauce boil to a nice burnt sweet finish hence dip the juicy tender meet into the BBQ sauce and savour. (the sauce is made themselves to suit the flame cooking so it won't go bitter when burnt). U can order the RM7 cheese top-up for this as they are not using the cheap cheese other cafe use that will turn hard, tasteless and chewy when cooked; their flame cooked cheese is soft and holds a light scorched cheese taste that matches. Their Fish & Chips use the best white fish meat, which is Cod Fish coated with a light batter so is well balanced and goes with their own made Chipotle sauce and quality cut fries. Their Burnt Cheese cake is solid cheese with burnt top and goes well with their own Vanilla Ice Cream (made by shaving Vanilla beans instead of artificial flavouring). There are high chairs. Parking is extremely limited here. 20 Sep 19: 2nd Visit. The Applewood Smoked Duck pasta is perfectly balanced, the pasta has a mellow fragrant taste waiting to complement the burst of fragrance of the Applewood Smoked duck (smoked with imported Applewood + Cherrywood) and end it with a dried cranberry that gives a sweet finish to each bite. The Ausie Braised Lamb Shank comes in a beautiful simplistic grey bowl-plate that gives the feeling of an outdoor lamb cooked in an aluminium bowl-plate in the wilderness. It comes with Mash potato as well as Mash carrot prepared as natural as it can be to form a base taste to compliment the stronger flavours of this dish; The lamb it surprisingly juicy & silky/glistening tender (this is a rare gem, as other restaurant tends to have their lamb dried or even hard/tough). The sauce for this is a marvel made from lots of herbs & vegetables braised together with the meat, which results in a very strong complimentor to the lamb improved flavour. There are 2 types of Cheesecake here: German Cheesecake by the baker and their very own Homemade Cheesecake: Original, Matcha & Red Bean (Truly condensed Green Tea flavour that blend with the cheesecake with the cheese complimenting the taste instead of overpowering it) and Brown Sugar. Their Ice Cream is from New Zealand with Black Doris Plum being the rare heavenly flavour: sweet with veey light sour & bursting plum fragrance (do order this if it's available).

📍Say Cheese Cafe @ Bukit Jalil 🧀✌🏻 1. Creamy Curry Luncheon Meat Pasta 🍝 (RM30) 2. Aussie Fish (cod) & Chips (RM35) 🐟🍟 + Cheese Lava (RM7) 🧀 3. Burnt Cheesecake (RM18) 🍰 4. Milo Dinosaur (RM11) 🦖 Verdict: This cafe has been in my list since forever because I wanted to try their cheesecake 🤩 Many people said that this cafe serves one of the best burnt cheesecake so you can tell how enthusiastic I was to give it a try…. However, I didn’t enjoy it all. How bad can a cheesecake be? The answer is REALLY BAD 🥺 I have never hated a cheesecake before but this one hits differently. It tasted like an egg tart instead of a creamy cheesecake. It was custardy and eggy 😵💫 Later on, I found out that their Original Burnt Cheesecake is made with ZERO Flour [Gluten Free], LESS 70% Sugar, 100% Halal Ingredients, Denmark Cheese. Maybe the fact that it has less sugar and no flour made it taste very weird?! Idk but definitely not trying it again 🙅🏻♀️ Second reason why I wanted to come here was for the cheese lava!! 😍🧀 This did not disappoint. We added on the molten cheese lava for the Aussie fish & chips and it was an eye pleaser 🤩👌🏻 The oozy, melted mozzarella cheese that blankets over the the fish and chips is worth the experience. It was a striking sight when Chef David hoisted the hot cheese into the air and fibres of cheese tore and stretched into thick lattices. The thick long strings of mozzarella cheese coated the golden fish & chips generously 🤤 If you’re a cheese lover, do yourself a favour and add on the cheese lava 🧀❤️ The fish and chips were also excellent 👍🏻 The cod fish fillet was fresh and juicy, it was deep fried but not greasy and even the chips were flavourful 😍😍🍟 Really enjoyed the freshness of the cod fish and it didn’t taste like those from a fast food chain 💯 Embracing a life filled with endless pasta-bilities because their Curry Luncheon Meat Pasta was brimming with curry powder flavour 🔥 Slightly spicy and packs a punch of heat 🌶 The luncheon meat cubes were nice and chewy, pasta was al dente and overall well portioned 🐷👌🏻 Their delicious mains offer a tantalising treat for the palate. They have a spectacular porky menu with a wide array of dishes to choose from, infusing both Western & Asian delicacies. Food is good, but their burnt cheesecake is not my type (maybe it’s suitable for those who are looking for less sugar/gluten free cakes) 😅

I'm not sure why it took me so long to come here. I've been looking for the perfect cheesecake since I've been in Malaysia, many have come close but this one hits the nail on the head. The location is a bit out of place as it's on the outside of an essentially dead mall with only a few other shops that aren't lots for rent. Parking is easy enough with the parking guys outside, but the price for parking is still reasonable at Rm2/ hour. If you're planning to stay longer it's better to park in the basement as the 1st hour is Rm2 but after that only Rm1 for each additional hour. The shop itself is quite Instagramable but I ordered takeaway because I already ordered tacos from Taco2 upstairs.(another good spot at this location) (If you do want to dine in though I would suggest a reservation if you have a large group or if it's a busier day on the weekend.) So I ended up bringing the cake home with me. It held up very well in my fridge overnight not losing any of the expected texture or flavor. What I ordered: Jaguar Cheesecake-two types of cheesecake in one slice. Only slightly sweet, and extremely cheesy. If you love actual cheesecake without all the flour and filler then this is for you. The thick and creamy texture that this cake has is what I've been dreaming of since I moved here. It's like a slice of home filled with all the love that a mother can give her child. And Lemon meringue topped burnt Cheesecake- The meringue was the softest and most Airy I've ever had with no harsh grainy sugar feeling or excessive sweetness like many other places have (one in particular would be Gravy Baby.) The lemon part was exquisite and also with just a hint of sweetness. These paired wonderfully with the rich and creamy burnt cheesecake layer that served as the crust. Needless to say, I will be back again as it's worth the drive from Cyberjaya. 10/10 I wish they would open another location closer to my house though 🤣🤣🤣

1 dish, 2 drinks, and a slice of cheese cake cost me RM102 including taxes. The fish n chips with calamari is just ok and nothing impressive, portion is quite small as well. The same dish I've had similar tasting and even better in many other restaurants or cafes with the same or lower price.... Same goes to the drinks, latte and mocha is very average tasting and small glass... also just to add ice costs RM2 seriously? The only good thing is the cheese cake which admittedly is quite nice and very cheesy, but its also expensive and its a small slice. In the end still not like I can't find the same or even better cheesecake somewhere else with the same price..... also saw the small slice of Tiramisu for RM30???? Not judging the taste since I didnt try it but hello, I can get a bigger piece from Kenny Hills for way less fyi You would not expect the price considering the atmosphere of the cafe as well which I can only describe as 'normal and boring'. You all can be the judge whether this is overpriced or worth it....

The service is good. Their waitress are very attentive and helpful. 3 sit suen mui share the same concept as margarita. The salted rim of glass complements the flavors of the sour plum and sweet sparkling juice. Piri piri chicken is scrumptious! Moist and tender baked chicken is good by itself already, but it was even better when it is eaten together with the remarkable mashed carrot. My first time trying mashed carrot combined with baked beans and spices. It was an incredible flavoursome dish. Applewood smoke duck were chewy and a little dry. Salad and mashed potatoes with maple syrup is served together with the smoke duck, thus the dish is quite filling. Their portion is quite big. Their famous cheesecake is really soft like taufu. They serve new Zealand ice cream together with the cheesecake upon order. The chocolate ice cream has a tinge of dark choco's bitterness, not too sweet, so it really good.

Been following their Facebook page for a while, and when I found myself around the area I decided to give them a try. First impressions do count, and they delivered. Was immediately greeted with a cheery good morning as soon as I stepped into the cafe, and that really set the welcoming tone. One attentive waiter immediately approached me to help me with my selection - told him I was there for takeaway and he patiently guided me through the menu and provided water for me while I waited. The food didn't take long, and I was soon on my way home to savour the Carbonara Bacon Pasta and Big Breakfast. It was polished off in no time!! The omelette in the big breakfast was divine when paired with the mushrooms and sourdough bread. The bacon bits added an oomph to the creamy pasta as well. Think I need to dine in the next time I'm in the area. Kudos to a job well done!
